A couple of days ago I was reading Otoyome-gatari (Bride’s Tale by Kaoru Mori), and finished the latest chapter. Such a great story, wholesome slice of life, with focus on family, various cultures and food.
Honestly, I can’t name any manga as good as that. But, this manga here comes close.
Hokuou Kizoku or The Snow Country Hunting Life of the Northern Nobleman and the Raptor Wife is a beautiful manga. Very underrated. Its long and difficult name may be one reason!

There's something special about this manga and I can't really figure out what it is.
This manga's description is definitely accurate, but the way it's written gives it a sort of wacky feeling, and I went in with that expectation. Instead, I was greeted with something incredibly down to earth, with two adult characters interacting in a misunderstanding-less way to create a nice relationship together. To say the least, this manga is incredibly comfy. The MCs are just too cute together, and every interaction between them serves to deepen their bond. It's only been 11 chapters, and I can already tell I'll be rooting them on the ...

Let me tell you. You will definitely enjoy it. It maybe feels off at first but it gets better and better and until it becomes what it wants to be.
At the very beginning it has a lot of problems like some mistakes in drawings and explanations (If you have experienced living in a village and done some of the things they do in this manga, you might get an uncanny valley feeling, cause some of them are a little bit wrong) but later on it avoids these kind of mistakes so be patient.
