I'm only writing this review to get this message out: This series is an ONGOING Pixiv manga and it has more than 40 chapters as I'm writing this review. It has always been a Pixiv manga and it got a surprise physical release which this page is about. MAL has set its own rules about seperating web-manga from physical releases which they follow to a fault. This series is NOT finished.
It's your average, fluffy shoujo ai. The characters are cute as buttons but they aren't that deep even when the author tries to give them dramatic backstories.
Supporting characters are too supporting. No one seems

I see this still hasn't been fixed to note the true number of chapters in this work. I've actually read up to chapter 42, for the record.
Anyway, I liked this manga a lot, because gay monster girls are a rarity, but I have to admit it's not good. It's just that everything with gay monster girls I've seen so far has been an open trash fire, and this is relatively normal shoujo ai, so it looks amazing by comparison. Art 6/10 Good enough, but kind of basic. There's more shading later on, but it's hard to say the art has improved over the course of the manga. ... Jan 10, 2020
Since there is no review of this manga, I would like to give my opinion.
I’d like to start saying that I really enjoyed this one, it was a very cute and fluffy little story. The score is only my most objective opinion. Story: 6 The plot of this manga is very simple and straightforward. Monster girl meets cute girl, and they fall in love. The trick is that the cute girl, whose name is Lily Blind, is actually blind (who would have guessed), and so the monster girl, Heath, tries to hide her true nature, so she can have some company. It’s a one-volume story, so the ... Apr 24, 2022
First and foremost: Dont let the yuri tag prevent you from reading this masterpiece that will make you laught and cry.
I dont write reviews very often but this deserves one for being such a good history and have so many good characters. I confess that i had it in my "to read someday" list for a looong time but once i started it i could not stop myself. It's a gret history of both love and forgiveness and how to overcome diferences for the ones you love. Although i do think the autor rushed a bit, the ending of the mangá is a very good ending. ... This manga is now complete at 50 chapters. (Plus a few side chapters. Plus a couple NSFW side stories.)
I loved this, although I’m a sucker for cute, endearing, yuri, slice-of-life stories. ;) It’s nice to see a blind person depicted in a straight-forward, capable, confident way. Lily’s blindness impacts the story a little at the beginning; after that it’s just who she is. She “sees” as much or more as the sighted characters and is really the one who controls the story progression. Heath is a kind person with a lot of pain, fleshed out more than I expected. I was able to empathize with her ... Jun 16, 2024
PROLOGUE:
This manga ended with 50 chapters (web version). For reasons, this page/entry is just about the physical version of the manga, which has 4 chapters. ----- GENERAL, STORY AND CHARACTERS: This is a shoujo-ai / yuri manga. It´s not implicit yuri, nor yuri bait nor wishy-washy yuri. It´s yuri and shoujo-ai on its true/explicit form. The story is simple yet beautifully done as it follows the love relationship between Heath (a monster/beast girl) and Lily (human). Not only I would recommend this for yuri fans but also for those who are indifferent about yuri. Side characters are nice and you might be able ... |
