The main characters are somewhat similar ( not to mention the same seiyuu), both manga are focused on gambling and have psychological elements...

I'd say start with Blue Lock because then you will get used to selfishness and egoism in sports first and then you will be prepared to jump to read a one man show in One Outs.

They are similar in the way that the two main characters smoke, are only concentrated on winning/being the best (very tactical in their decisions), and finally they owe someone something and enter the baseball scene in order to pay the person back. The stories are entertaining too. :)

In Giant Killing the East Tokyo United team is struggling in Japan's top football league. In an effort to improve their performance they have hired a new coach Tatsumi Takeshi. Like One Outs Tatsumi Takeshi uses tactics to out smart teams with bigger budgets and better players. Their is no gambling or tricks involved just strategy and tactics

The main character is a pitcher. However without having breaking ball like sawamura, tokuchi cover it out with his insane mind. Recommended if you enjoyed the tension and the team work

Psychological warfare mangas about one guy outsmarting everyone around him through ingenious usage of rules and circumstances, in One Outs while playing baseball, and in Kurosagi by scamming.

Both has a team that has a genius demonic leader, in one outs you have tokuchi, and on eyeshield you have hiruma. Both have common tactic to get win, using their mind and their comrade ability to make their weak team to beat elite team. And also they even have a similar quote:" we might still win. the chances are like 0.1%. It's too early to give up as long as its not 0%." Hiruma

These two serialisations follow protagonists who are well adept with tactics and strategy. They are cunning, deceptive, and would bypass moral boundaries to get results.

Both are sports manga that have some kind of psychological aspect to it and are focused on new players on a team. While KnB has many characters which are nearly inhumanly talented, there is still a whole lot of thinking going on and you can actually see what's being done instead of it just being this-guy-did-something-super-amazing-but-hell-if-i-know why. One Outs is a bit more about a guy who IS talented, but not because he can do amazing physical feats- more like mental ones, although it's not like he can't do both. If you thought One Outs was pretty nice but didn't like the old art style (it  read more
