Both are psychological battle manga that feature a clever player who is placed into games which force him to outwit his opponents. The main male heroes of Liar Game and One Outs are also both portrayed as morally upright individuals, as they compete as the allies of the disadvantaged and outsmart those who prey upon the weak. They are also both authored and drawn by Shinobu Kaitani. 

One Outs and Liar Game have the same authour, and are both heavily based on psychological gambling. The main character of One Outs (Toua Tokuchi) is basically the same guy as Akiyama - he's really good at manipulating how other people think/is really attuned to the way the human mind works - except in baseball form.  

Same author, same psychological thrill, except one use its brain in a game of money and the other in baseball. Both are psychological manga who shows incredible turnabout in hopeless situations and a mastermind main character. 

The protagonist in both mangas is a genius, they uses psychology to manipulate their opponents, and both are the same author. 

Same author, Similar mind games, High stakes plot, Plot twists and extreme depiction of the human psyche. 

Both Liar Game and One Outs are made by Shinobu Kaitani and have the same level of focus on a battle of wits between the main characters. Liar Game is the non-baseball rendition of One Outs. 

Calm, cooled, collected and without fear is how the genius operates to topple the psychological battlefield. Showing the very reasons why they are known as the best, the very reason why they have gathered a cult following of enchanted and mesmerised followers. So, are you a fan mind games and gambles, involving a genius invincible protagonist? Well I have two manga for you, the only major difference is that One Outs focuses on baseball, while Akagi focuses on Mahjong. 

Both of these mangas focus on something other than their respective sports, and that's being the one who comes out on top no matter what. Their ideas are pretty much the same, but the execution is what makes them unique and original. Although it should be mentioned, Blue Lock is a shounen and One Outs is a seinen, so take this recommendation with a grain of salt. 

Both baseball mangas, both main characters use tactics, strategy and psychological elements to win and aren't afraid to break the rules.  

Both of them revolve around professionals in the sports they practice. Both of them revolve around sports teams that are struggling in one way or another. In both of them, the main character ends up being the driving force behind the regained success of the sports team, after suddenly joining. Both of them rely on mind games and outsmarting the move the opponent makes using generally risky/clever strategies. Both of them have large main casts of characters that don't necessarily get the spotlight or development, the main idea is focusing on the pro aspect of the game and the struggle of staying afloat and essentially maintaining your job.
