I'd say start with Blue Lock because then you will get used to selfishness and egoism in sports first and then you will be prepared to jump to read a one man show in One Outs.
Both of these mangas focus on something other than their respective sports, and that's being the one who comes out on top no matter what. Their ideas are pretty much the same, but the execution is what makes them unique and original.
Although it should be mentioned, Blue Lock is a shounen and One Outs is a seinen, so take this recommendation with a grain of salt.
