Yeah I accept, this is a Gender Bender CGDCT manga and I enjoyed it.

How do you like your eggs?* Scrambled? Poached? Forcibly hatched? Well then you've come to the right place, cause this is a nice and cutesy SOL genderbender story! I like nice and cozy stuff like this. Though one of the gags is a little weird. Like they say, "if I had a nickel for everytime someone peed themselves during this story I would have 3 nickels; that isn't much, but it's a little strange that it happened that many times." I'm writing this review from the standpoint a trans woman who reaaaaally sees this as unintentionally relatable at time, or wish fulfillment. I know a majority of people are not this way, and that's perfectly fine.
Onimai means a lot to me on an emotional level, it's primarily what cracked my trans egg all the way in 2018 when there were only a few chapters released. I read it in a hotel room at 3am, and promptly forgot the name of the series a week later. Forward to 2022 where I see a gender-bender anime get announced with a name that keeps poking in the back ...

One of the great works that will be remembered for years to come. Historians will look back on this video d’art and wonder if this waa fhe second coming of Christ, as a gender-bent, shut-in neet, schoolgirl. Entire religions may be started from the varying interpretations of the sacred, yet forbidden P-lore. Cults with spring up, to follow the teachings of the dowsy Nemu. You will enjoy this anime. The art style is only a facet for the knowledge of genderswap to be processed into the generation of color focused aduits.
All-in—all, a must watch for normies and neets alike.

Now lets get this out of the way to begin with, yes this is a genderbend manga and yes it has some questionable fanservice choices. BUT with all that in mind it would be impossible to say this is a weird manga or a bad one in fact its quite the opposite.
Onimai I am now your sister is a surprisingly wholesome, cute and impactful at times manga seeing Mahiro grow as a person and all their funny interactions along the way. Usually its best to decide on what scale something falls on whether thats entertainment, impactful, heartbreaking and so on but for this it was ...

If you're really looking for dumb fun on a manga, well here it is, in all its glory!
Onimai is about some NEET who gets drugged by his little sister and transformed into the opposite gender. After that, he learns the experiences of being a female and attempting to better his life from before. There's not really a story here, it's mainly just dumb fun with everything going on. The characters are also pretty fun and a joy to read and see their wacky adventures. While the art may not be the best thing in the world, it’s still really cute and fits the aesthetic they’re trying ...

I ended reading the manga shortly after finishing the anime and despite it not having the amazing animation of Studio Bind I still think it's just as good and even better in some spots.
So it's a genderbend manga about a NEET who's super smart sister turns him into a middleschool girl. Yeah the premise alone was enough for me to be extremely skeptical. However after giving it a fair shot I can say it's a like better then it sounds. Underneath that title is a great story about a brother slowly being rehabilitated into the world through another chance by his sister who genuinely cares ...

My opinion on a manga where the protagonist transforms into a girl would be that this premise could offer a great variety of comedic and interesting opportunities to explore the unique experience of transforming into another gender. A pretty good story of a guy used as a guinea pig and turned into a girl weird thing right? and the person that turned him into a girl is his sister!
so if you want to know how he lives after this read it! it is fun! He sometimes has problems adapting which makes great and funny scenes, it has a great story (maybe a little predictable) but I am sure you will have fun reading it! (I am straight but he looks cute ngl) (IMPORTANT NOTE: when you are reading this get ready because FBI might just knock your door anytime!) |
