Both manga are about surviving on an island after getting stuck there (by plane or boat). Cage of Eden has prehistoric animals on the island that the students must survive from, and Ingoshima has mentally unstable natives that sacrifice/murder anyone they see. 

Both of these stories have a heavy focus on a slightly stronger than average main character who makes it his duty to to slay the undead, both of these series have a heavy focus on fantastical enemies and beings  

Both manga have a similar art style and vibe to it being blood, gore, and sex to make for a fun read. 

The story of students who are stranded on an island and are forced into killing people or being killed by people. 

A class of students are left stranded on an island and forced to participate in killings by the situation and for their survival. 

A class gets stranded on an island, where they need to survive as not only the island's inhabitants are danger, some of the fellow classmates are too. Both works have plenty of nudity and violence and heavily rely on shock value. 

Group of students on a secluded island gets into conflict with locals, with results that combine violence and nudity.
