Both series feature a main character who dies and gets reincarnated as a new born child. Because of this you will also see the MC grow up and learn about the new world he is in through the teaching of tutor(s). Also in both series, a unfortunate event happens just after the MC finishes his training causing him to travel around in the wider world and finally truly seeing everything the world has to offer. Because of the intense training both main characters are powerful in both magic and sword fighting.

Similar style of fantasy manga. Both deal with the concept of living on after an adventure, and the death of companions. Both series have this more grounded fantasy world feel and are more character focused. They are also both pretty damn good aswell.

the way it's characters are developed is rather similar and both series have similar wholesomeness to each other

Both fantasy manga has that bittersweet & melancholic feeling that just slows you down and immerses you into its well-written & intricate world building.

The main premise is very similar: - MC is an abandoned child raised by powerful beings proficient in swordsmanship, magic and healing - MC becomes very powerful and is destined to leave his home and experience the outside world - MC must pass a trial to leave This being said, Saihate no Paladin has a much deeper lore aspect and I would say it is less "typical isekai" compared to this one. This is especially the case when considering the influence of gods and the amount of world-building that went into the series.

If you ever wanted to read a story... Of a human child raised in isolation by a being/beings with connections to death [Fantasy✔]; One where that child grows up to become exceptionally strong in battle [Action✔]; One where the MC sets off seeking answers about their non-human parental figure(s) [Adventure✔]; One where romance is not a focus, but there is a good friendship to find later down the line; These titles may be for you. The protagonist is male in Saihate no Paladin and female in Shinigami ni Sodaterareta Shoujo, but both stories remind me of the other.

Both center on love, loss, and growing beyond ourselves.
