Both manga follow the story of modern age people being thrown back all the way into the stone age 

Eden no Ori will offer similar attractions as Sousei no Taiga. Minus the cave people but all of the evolution and story growth. The pace of the story goes for a comfortable speed so reading it will be quite a time filler of enjoyment. Though, there are quite a number of characters in this story, but if that bothers you, don't worry. Those numbers change gradually throughout the story. 

Both are made by the same author and it's also a survival. Both have a very exciting start very educational too I suppose. 

People from our time somehow travel to the past in which either dinosaurs (Blue Hole) or mammoths (Sousei no Taiga) and other nowadays extinct animals are alive. They have to survive and adapt in the environment until they are saved and brought back to the present. 

Both involve similar themes of time travel and learning to survive in the past all the while learning to interact with human-like civilizations in the past. 

They are by the same author, and the protagonists look practically identical. A lot of the themes of struggle and the validation of your existence through fighting are present in both. They are high octane and exciting. If you like one you will definitely like the other.
