As much as I would like this manga, I just couldn't really enjoy it at all. I won't be spoiling it at all so please ignore my vague language.
You see Akira just gets passed through all the challenges he finds himself in in an almost instantaneous manner. I understand it's a 2 volume manga, but jeez! With the 400-500 pages you had you could've at least made me care more! Rockruff is basically OP and a secret organization wants to kidnap him for world domination reasons.
