if you look at the genre or synopsis both are very different but after you read it you will like both because in both of them there is a tragic romance story about a pair of hearts that are not destined together... I don't want to give too many spoilers so please read the rest yourself :3

Both have tragic ends. A ticking time bomb attached to their life-span. But at the end of their story they had that smile of satisfaction on their face that is painful to watch. That reminds us that they didn't deserve this fate, living a little while longer wouldn't hurt, and dying young shouldn't be an option at all. Both are extremely good manga. Both manga have male lead that really care about the female lead. They made some memories so their female lead could feel a short of happiness in their life

Tokidoki and Onnanoko ga Shinu Hanashi tell a story about a young girl dying from a certain incurable illness. The former is pretty straightforward with a twist at the end and also light-hearted in nature. Meanwhile the latter explores more its theme by showing relational impact of the protagonist's fate and illness on people who are close to her. I recommend these two if you like to read manga that handle the related topic in two completely different ways. 

Both are about a girl that is not expected to live very long, so she decides to make the most of the time she's got. Both girls also accomplish this by spending time with a boy. They also deal with loss and become very sad at the ending. There is also an aspect of singing/playing music together with the couples.
