Haha, Golgo cleaned up the Amazon guerilla + State Police by himself. And he did that for the poor and the week too, what do you say about that?

In every age, in every place, the deeds of men remain the same.

It was too much. At the beginning, when he was hijacking the plain, I thought "what's the connection here, it must be pretty big", but he solved it too easily, and killed everyone too easily. It doesn't stops being impressive, but there are things that a human can or can't do. But then again, he's Golgo.

Can't say this show never has some continuity. Pretty sure Regan and Flannagan (Pentagon guy) both from episode 1 made appearances in this episode.

Also reminded me a bit of the Queen Bee OVA.

So this time around he wipes out a whole camp of guerillas all by himself and still not a single scratch. 21st episode, and so far not one has managed to do so much as to slap his face. Seriously, he's freaking me out... WTF is he?
Signature? I ain't got no signature! I don't need no signature! I don't have to show you any stinkin' signature!

I sorta have a problem with this episode. Every time else, he has killed either for money or self-defense. What motive did he have for accepting this job? Even if he took the diiamons from the dead guy, the risk should have been so high...

Also, he shot the hum-vee to blow it up, after all that... didn't use a bomb or anything.

I think this episode was sorta a shark-jumper, and doesn't fit with the character's personality at all.

.... that being said, it was still fun to watch... my fave line was something like "even with 100 lives, we won't be able to handle a monster like that"...

We establish that in episode 19. He is GOD!

I think he purred gasoline on the vehicle before shotting it. So the shot was just to light the fire.

As about doing what he did. Well when he takes a job he never quits even when the client is dead that is a known fact about him. Of course it's debatable whether he actually took this job or not since the client actually died trying to convince him but maybe he thought of taking the diamonds once the guy was dead so he felt like doing the job since he took them.

He set that up earlier on in the episode by pretending to be a soldier.

I feel that this episode could have been stretched out into a full length 90+ minute Golgo movie.

Definitely one of my fave eps. Nice to see him do some good shit for once - I was starting to get tired of Evil Golgo.

He didn't have to take the job, we are all despite our fervert desires elsewise accepted that Golgo is a heartless beast. He already said no, doesn't matter if the client 'thinks' Golgo will take the job til the dying end.

Pride? Challenge? I guess we might know later.

Wow. Apparently Golgo 13 is enough for small scale war to break out.

And hijacking a plane to just get some ransom money to bait those guys? And just giving the money back to the FBI guy... Very meticiously planned.

If Golgo had been born during WW2, he would've definitely defeated the US Marines on his own and defended Iwo Jima or Okinawa.
Another bittersweet episode where the client doesn't live to see the results of their request.
