But it was nice to see Uso have some tender moments w/ his mother. I wonder how they're family got so splintered. |

| Another recap feeling :/ And I didn't like Uso's mother's attitude. Even if Uso is a newtype, his mother shouldn't just use him to pilot Victory and put his life on the edge. He is only a little kid. |

| Finally, we were able to see Uso's mother! Well, it had some recap scenes, but this episode was worth to watch. And WTF Uso? You decided to put your mission on risk just to save a random woman! Well, since he's a Newtype I guess he must have "felt" that she was special. |
| I don't like how implausible it is that the first person they happen to encounter in that place is his mother. They could've easily made it better if they had encountered someone who knows his mother or something like that, but whatever.. Just kind of a silly coincidence. |

He "knew" that it was his mother, that's why he wanted to save her. Yeah, the clip show was dumb and the second should have been used for better bonding/development. But I guess better have a 10min recap than a whole episode of recaps. |

| I could get over the big coincidence (first person seen = mother) but the way they "replaced" mother/son moments with flashbacks who had almost no reason to be was a bit infuriating. (the ones with the queen were better justified) Nice scene nonetheless. The mother is at the total opposite of the previous "gundam moms" (best mother since 1979?) 2/5 How to fill a potentially good episode with nothing. |

| At least the recap episode with the Queen made sense: here it's just random clips without any connection whatsoever to the conversation between Uso and his mom. Good job sacrificing a great opportunity for some genuine mother/son bonding for a bunch of tasteless flashbacks, there. Let's not even talk about how the mom turned out to be literally the first person they met, right after they mentionned the city was too big to find someone easily in it. Oh, and I know they're family, but can somebody explain how Uso ended up naked in bed with his mom? Did Lupe's attempted rape permanently fried his brains? It's just plain weird and creepy. The Newtype talk was vague and uninformative as usual and I seriously doubt we'll get much more than that by the time the show ends. |

| I think Tomino, and whomever worked on the staff, took the day off on this episode and felt "Fuck it, I have my own shit going on." I've had many of those days in graduate school so far (not proud of it), so I can relate to how the recap portion was just.. not your best effort and lax :). |

Little children do sleep with their mothers. Whether 13 y.o. Uso can be considered such is another question though. |
| i didn't like the recap but uso and his mother were so tender, very emotianl moment. also haro is the real mvp of this season |
