Oh relax Chihaya: Really tense episode with a lot of pressure and anxiety. Loved it. 5/5. If this is how it goes, I can't wait for Shinobu and Arata to compete later on. |

| Damn that was TOO AWESOME!! The Intensity was soo good. Loved the pressure and the exchange between Chihaya and Megumu is probably the best match I've seen til now in the series. Chihaya has become really good and she's not losing her focus that much anymore :) But poor her she doesn't know how to contest a card XDXD I lol'd so much at Sou saying that Megumu was definitely a Do S XDXDXD Ughhh if only Shinobu and Arata were watching this match!!! |

| Flashbacks,monologues,tension, there's more to come and another weak to wait.... In the second season they really like to build up tension in the games. |

| Amazing episode. I really want Chihaya to win since it feels like it's been a long time since shes won a major match but I wouldn't mind too much if she lost as well. It'd just be another learning experience for her and her continued development as a character. |

| I loved the episode. Chihaya almost caught up and pressured Megumu--she's trained so much ^^ By the end everyone was watching their game xD I reaaalllly hope Chihaya wins! She never does against a strong opponent, they should give it to her. She deserves it! I also liked the art for this episode (though its always good), especially the part where Harada-sensei is putting his hand on Chihaya's shoulder while they play. |

| lol~, everyone's being nervous for Chihaya. So it was her thought, she didn't even care about being queen, though she became real serious and dark. And that affected other girls. lol @ when they argued over a card. |

| UGHHHH 3 episodes on ONE game? Seriously guys.. It's just dragging now.. An episode and a half would have sufficed to see Chihaya overcoming weaknesses while learning about Megumu. There's a 5 minute dialogue after every card read, no wonder it's going at a snail's pace. I'm also annoyed at Chihaya for STILL always losing her concentration and momentum so damn easily. Didn't she learn anything in the past year? |

Yeah Chihayafuru episodes seems to last like 5 minutes, and the 3 camera boys are annoying too :s This was so intense!! And after 2 episodes, they're still even! (except porky's match I think). I really can't wait until next friday >.< I think I'll go and read the manga instead lol |

| Soooo intense! I'm always amazed by how this anime keeps you on the edge of your seat and leaves you wanting more. I don't really care much as to which school wins the match, but Chihaya better win against Megumu or I'm going to be pissed. |

| Riveting tension. As with Chihaya, I have to remember to breathe. This was a good recovery after two less than stellar episodes. The pacing is almost cruel but it's just right to build such thick tension. And other than the photonuts, everyone in the room seems caught up with it as well. Nobody knows what's going to happen two seconds into the future. Good to see Chihaya rising to the challenge so well, and Megumu's placid surface finally begin to roil. I don't want to wait for the next episode. Well into the match I kept thinking that everyone is thinking about Megumu but we don't ever find out what she thinks as she is expressionless. This went even up to the headband comment, but when Chihaya took the next card, and the next one after, she suddenly caused something deep inside Megumu to stir. And it really came out when they contested the second card. As much as Misuzawa shakes their collective head about Chihaya, it was even more fun to see the Akashi team react to Megumu contesting the card and how it made the first contested card look. This is good writing. Someone earlier commented about this episode having more of a shounen feel to it. If that's the case, then I guess they're at the point where they'll now take things seriously and hold nothing back (although the show that reminds me of other than Rurouni Kenshin is Baka Testo in which Yoshii is always getting serious). Next week is going to be great. But I think that Chihaya has to win now after her comparison of the two of them, and her comment about her own teaching. |
