The only BD chart Oricon publishes on their website is the all-genre ranking. For subscribers, the all-genre Top 20 goes out the same time as the animation-only Top 10. Usually the charts get combined by 2ch/dtshyk each Tuesday if more than 10 anime are in the all-genre Top 20 but this time the animation-only 1-10 ranking numbers just weren't included.

It is in fact better than most fans in Japan expected, particularly after the trashing of this anime online by some people who are not happy with some changes made in the anime from the LN (which has more to do with nationalist feelings than anything else). At least it is doing better than Kokoro Connect, another anime that suffered storms of online bashing.

No it's not, but it's borderline enough that it's really tempting me to import it now. I'm not sure if the anime is helping novel sales though, which is the real deal-maker or -breaker when a title is selling ~3k like this.

I'm constantly surprised at how good the show is, and how well the emotional struggles of the characters are portrayed, and I'd like to at least see it not flop. Just need to decide if ¥8190*8 was in my budget. I only imported four Fall '12 series, so in theory it shouldn't be a problem to add one more. I just want to make sure it doesn't drop the ball in the end.

Many LoveLive fans who already owned the singles bought the DVD+BD package just for those updated PVs.

Its sales are pretty solid, though not spectacular, considering how much the novels sell. I think it also has the misfortune of being compared, in terms of sales, to SAO, which is selling like 5 times as much.
