| I just saw this SUBBED. I LOVE THE WAY KYOKO harasses the manager LME to get the audition. That is what you call A GIRL WITH GUTS! She got good courage. Shotaro is being an ass and trying hard on his own but I am surprised the manager shows some concern. I think it takes guts anyways to stay in the cold all that time in front of LME and after do such a nasty hit on that guy which of course follows the following home someone and then finally stalking them. NOT A GOOD WAY BUT DAMN LOTS OF GUTS. That's for sure. I wonder who is the little girl........ANYONE READ THE MANGA? She was a crybaby BUT she changes after having Kyoko talk to her. I love the way Kyoko does her audition! Good form showing when she enter the audition and see everyone else as the competition better than her BUT TO ME SHE WILL BEAT ALL COMPETITION! She is one of those types that does not let herself be trampled! I KNOW! HIGHLIGHTS The way Kyoko is depressed is funny but also pitiful. I like the way she enters the stage after all she tries is futile during the audition.   I find it also these parts where she still fears Sho but that also makes her be stronger or better yet psych up!   The little girls at first is fearful but after talking with Kyoko she changes...why?   LOVE THE STALKING OF THAT GUY TO GET A AUDITION+nice part where she takes the hits of blame!    |

| This episode was so full of wins. I love everything about it. Even though I've read the manga, I lol-ed through the entire thing. What's so great about the SB animation right now is the way they're doing the expressions, especially the wacky ones, haha. They're following the humor from the manga really well and not wasting a single precious minute. Poor old Sagara-san. He's too nice. The conversation between Ren and Kyoko was hilarious. Ren actually looks really good compared to his design on the official site and the OP. No where near as great as the manga but cool nevertheless. I'm happy to see more of Ren and less of Sho. Kanae, Maria, and Lorry have all appeared. Lorry's entrance was very well done. Kanae's looking beautiful. Maria is so cute. angel999--The identity of the little girl (Maria) you're wondering about is one of the arcs in this story. It'll be fun to watch and find out so I'd rather not spoil. (However, it's already spoiled in her character description so if you really want to know, you could read that. XD) |

| Yoroshiku and Ureshii Fansubs are collaborating to sub this. Yoroshiku finally made their announcement. I think both groups were just waiting to finish up their past projects before starting new ones so that's why it's been a while. |

| That's a relief, it's kind of funny because I found my way over here ready to ask the same question as I'm looking for a little change of pace from my shonen craze. Now I guess it's only a litlte bit of patience. Truth be told, I wasn't even aware there were some 'subs' on youtube, so I may just watch those to get this started. *shrug* |

| Thanks! The Zero Raws were good. As for subs, there's the one on youtube for now and as Annisa said, Yoroshiku and Ureshii Fansubs are making this a joint project. According to the news on a CrunchyRoll SB fan group, another subbing group, Osu!, apparently also plans to pick up the show, but they're lacking in staff right now? We'll see... |

| I thought the pace of the episode was too fast. It covers about 2 and a half chps of the manga... well at least it felt way too fast for me haha. But other than that I LOVE THIS ANIME. Kyoko is hilarious as always! Hehe <3 Can't wait to see the animated version of the whole autidion :] |

| Awesome ! I love the manga and I was not too sure about how I felt with the first episode but this one was excellent ! It made me laugh out loud, even if I already knew the story. And Ren is beautiful. |

| Is...is this the same show even? I honestly figured I would drop this after watching this episode, but to my surprise episode two was a complete turn around from the mostly boring first episode. The humor was funny and well placed throughout the episode, Kyoko, who started out exceedingly dull, stuck with the semi-psychotic personality developed at the end of last episode which rules, and the animation was more tolerable now that I'm used to watching what is essentially a mid-90's looking anime produced in 2008. Guess I'll stick with this after all if it can keep this up. |
| Haha this ep was insanely fun. Skip Beat is somewhat close to Nodame Cantabile in the sense that dramatic moments are overshadowed very brightly by entertaining and heartwarming scenes, and both heroines are pretty much alike (defined by their love/hatred for another character, and a bit simple-minded but very, very funny)... Now I'm sure that I'll watch it till the end, there's simply not any other show this season that makes me laugh that hard ! |

| You know I just noticed some thing. Alot of people said the first episode was boring during the first half and I'm starting to think they did that on purpose. It was to show how boring her life actually was before everything changed, hmmm thats kinda interesting. But anyways this episode was pretty good, I wonder if she gets a cooking show or some thing because of her talent. |

| Well this is much better than fist episode. Moko-chan and Maria !!! I'm so happy to see them... especially Moko. She's my second favorite character of SB, after Kyoko. The only thing that I missed is that it wasn't written anywhere how size of Sho's and Ren's picture on the wall is proportional to her hate towards them. That part in manga always cracks me up. But overall they are adapting it nicely. |

| The first 10 or so minutes were hilarious. Kyoko's VA is so skilled at comedy. I loved her in Zetsubou Sensei, and she is just fantastic here. How I eventually feel about this anime as a whole will probably be dependent on whether or not I get tired of Kyoko. I'm glad that they have decided to just super exaggerate everything, because it seems to me when they try to be a litte more grounded it falls horribly flat and quite inane. |

| i dunno... i find this anime to be really unrealistic D: guess cuz there are people like me trying to get into show biz, and people who harass the managers to get into show biz is just unrealistic and really pisses me off :/ that's how most disney stars became famous ~_~; |

| great episode, although i was hoping to see Kyoko's trick this episode. But man, the Presidant's entrance was hilariously awesome. I can't wait to see his other entrances animated. |

| Ooh, this is one of the worst anime i have seen in a while.. execution is horrible, same goes for comedy part in the anime, characters are nothing but bland, story is trash... So, after having enough torture, i decided to drop the series... 1/10 is what it deserves. Edit: The only pro of the series is Miyano Mamoru's fantastic voice acting. But he is being wasted on something this horrendous... real shame... |
