| Actually, the dog thing wasn't all that surreal... All the cheering was basically a big mix of similar sounds. The dog was the only different one, so it's only natural to notice it. It was as good as a slap ^_^ |

But what I love about this anime is that victories and losses are actually completely unpredictable. Anime tends to "reveal" the answer through who has struggled more, or little hints such as allies or bystanders yelling stuff, etc. Hajime no Ippo really never gives you a good idea of who is going to win, which I absolutely love. |

| That was a hell of a surprise, I had completely forgotten about the Gazelle punch by this point. I'm loving how unpredictable this fight is. The feints have been used sparingly by Ippo, but at least it saved his ass a little so far. |

Seriously, it was hard to watch how much Ippo seemed so weak. But he came back in that fourth round, that gazelle punch was magnificent. It won't work twice though. I don't know if he'll be able to defeat him with the Dempsey Roll... |

Ippo's fighting spirit was just picked up by Sendo's instincts. Also, I believe Takamura said it takes a lot of time to make those effective feints which is most likely why we haven't seem him use them. Ippo needs more experience. |

| Yeah, figured he's have to use the Gazelle punch to even the fight out. Since they're both basically on their last legs, I'm guessing he'll use the punch he used to beat Miyata to finish Sendo off at the end of the next ep. |

| The fear towards the sheer power of Sendo's punches prevented Ippo from getting the courage to even try fight back at the beginning but it's a huge relief that he realized the one thing that would get the Tiger off his back at the very last and most vital second. Despite the clear one-sidedness at some portions of the match, Ippo was the one who ended up knocking down his opponent twice and that's no small feat considering how much a monster Sendo is in raw power. Both of their legs are starting to give in and it'll be a very tense and narrow win, that's for certain. |

| Old man Gin bringing his dog into the arena and inside a tied up sheet is laughable and the fact that he plays dumb when questioned. Ryo watching the match with Kumi is real sportsmanship, he's definitely a closet-tsundere lol. Sendo gets knocked down by the gazelle punch but still feels like it's anyone's match because Ippo is equally as fatigued and on his last straw. |
