DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Well, it seems that someone has a problem with the Student Council and Medaka.  God knows why she's so pissed off about all the rules! Ahh. Maybe, is this? That's right, karma's a bitch: Shiranui, the girl who eats donuts and black holes strikes again in this episode behind that loli face of hers. Like a real boss. Her "untouchable" skills may perhaps surpass Medaka someday. (if not already). Entertaining episode and priceless ending L Also, after the ED, it seems that there might be a powerful antagonist coming? | Good episode,winds of change The intro of the DisCom was not bad specially with Onigase,she is funny cute and ruthless at the same time...me like it!! She changing everyone in the Student Counsil was funny specially Kikaijima having a swimsuit below the uniform,indeed...why she has one?!?!? Then she try to deceive Medaka...bad choice and she pay it being humiliate like that XD The Second part was ok,Shiranui being untouchable loli and using Zenkichi as weapon,then both of them getting handcuffed then Medaka getting also handcuffed,then dragging them to help everyone was funny,and lastly... the first time they show how crazy Medaka strength is by breaking the metal bat....still was funny that she didnt realize that they were attacking her,thats Medaka..... At the end they show Myouri(i knew it he was going to get voiced by Paku Romi,she is perfect for him) and after this....the REAL Medaka Box.....BEGINS!! |
Great episode.All that uniform stuff was hilarious. Also second part, lol broke a metal bat with a kick :D  |

Medaka continues to be a supremely annoying psudo-character that is really nothing but fanservice and pretentious, boring speeches that might as well be the author shouting into a bullhorn while standing on a soapbox. This episode she continues her idiot savant streak of helping everyone while being perfect. I don't think I've ever seen a Mary Sue this annoying. Just every time she is on screen the anime goes from barely watchable to cringe worthy bullshit. |

| Man what is the author doing? He doesn't need to spend so much damn time trying to create Medaka's perfect image. We get it already she's seemingly perfect (I use seemingly because I assume her image may eventually break down a bit). Maybe in manga form the material doesn't affect the series as much, but in anime form this pace has caused many to drop the series. I don't hate the series as of now it's just so damn mediocre. It's not terrible, but I can't say that it's good. I'm just hoping this "genre change" is as good as everyone says it is. I watched this because I loved Nisio Isin's Bakemonogatari (and nise), but I almost don't see any similarities between the two series. |

| it also took me a while to realise that the Medaka you see right now is only the mask she puts up. She wants to present herself as the perfect student council president as much as possible, and she's very successful in doing so. Whether or not it's her true personality, well, you'll see. She's an enigma all the way, you just don't know what she's thinking while being predictable at the same time. Her character took a long time to develop properly to its full extent, but it was fun all the way. |

If you seen a few anime (I say that's about 5-10 anime),then I say it's a good reason.If you seen a lot,then you're just wasting your time. Bot,HammersFan10 & Marius2005 seen more than enough (one seen 49,the other seen over 1,000) to tell what type of anime would entertain them just by reading a summary of the series. |

| Thus far the show has a 10 to 1 watching/drop ratio, and the distribution of evaluation scores is a normal curve around the 7.05 mean slightly skewed towards the higher end (based on 4500+ evaluations). I expect we'll see a bump in the mean score as we get closer to the end and people put in their final evaluations (positive scorers are more likely to be reflected in the late submissions than negative scorers who probably drop the series earlier). Obviously there are a few people still watching (or at least commenting) who have a negative opinion, but these are outliers. The stats would seem to show that this is an average/good show and viewers are not put off by the repeated display of Madoka's assets during the episodes. I'll agree with the critical comments that we have not really gotten good development of Madoka's character yet, but the manga readers have indicated that will change as we approach the end point of the first season. It's been enjoyable enough that I'm certainly prepared to give it a second season, particularly if it is going to change direction and evolve beyond the high school hijinks with big-breasted president and colourful side characters genre (not that I don't appreciate the odd bit of fan service, but I do like to have a bit more in a series). I've only watched one series (Blood-C) to the end, despite having a deep-seated revulsion towards it, largely for reason #1 from the discussion above. Post Madoka I always try to watch at least three episodes, just in case we see a massive Madoka-like shift in the basis for the show. After three episodes, if you really aren't enjoying it, why keep watching? (Note that reason #2 means that you enjoy it, just not in the way the developers intended and the OC folks mentioned in reason #3 can't help themselves). As for reason #4, read the second line of my sig. |
