Well anyway lol at the twist since everyone was expecting a twist by Anshinin losing and the actual twist was that she beat them all like she should have in the first place XD; I liked how it ended; with Zenkichi not being pushed aside in this arc like the last chapter suggested; and aside from that annoying new girl he didn't pick a bad student council XD; I wonder if he has gotten any stronger since he became student council president; since he hasn't really fought in a while |

But yeah Zenkichi is the main male protagonist but they always put more emphasis on Medaka being the "main character". The suitors surprised me though! I mean she IS the most awesome character, even more awesome than Ajimu... No, seriously. She rarely does anything yet is heavily hinted to be able to do whatever, and I do mean whatever, she wants. She is a Wild Card and a Chess Master, so you never know what she's going to do or who she's going to ally with or betray, yet you can always expect the best twists from her. Remember how she claimed herself as Normal (chapter 57) yet showed us this thing called Real-Eater later in the story (chapter 84)? Yup, we still don't know what the heck it is. Remember that she gave Hinokage his new abnormality Theme Song? Yup, never explained how she did that. Remember how she belonged to class Minus 13? To this day we have no idea whether she's a normal, a special, an abnormal, a minus, a non-equal or what-the-heck. Remember that Ajimu's right-hand is most likely somehow related to her? Of course telling us what how they're related would be too simple. And although I usually hate plot holes being left behind, in her case it's just awesome... And that's the problem. Any explanation given to her character, even the most incredible one would feel bad now. Too much build-up, you can not possibly give us anything that would match that build-up. It would be rationalizing the irrational and would feel like downgrading. |

It was already outrageous when Medaka could do like everything. Then they introduced Kumagawa who was practically invincible with that reverse technique of his but gave it away for his original (and rather pathetic) skill. Then we got Anshinin who is pretty much a god, and makes Medaka looks like a child. How crazy can this get? |
