THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE.
----------------------------------------
Wow, talk bout an overwhelming bout of information. This episode just about cleared up nearly every unresolved mystery in the show.

Finally things are clear as day now. The plot is starting to take shape. I have to admit, anyone who watches this show, can either enjoy it or find it to difficult to comprehend from the start and probably loose interest. I on the other hand love a series that makes you really think, so i enjoyed it.

But this episode really helped clear alot of things up. We now know that Helga is "tina" a previous being that lived on the planet greecia along with the rest of the children. Helga is basically a reincarnation of Tina. We know that these people do not exist on earth and the reasoning behind why they were shown in so many different time frames from other people was because as scientist and their creation of the zone, enabled them to enter any time zone they wished on earth, but their entire purpose was to find "tina" the princess of the kingdom of Greecia.

The zone as they call it, is actually the world of the dead, meaning basically from what i gather, is they are able to transcend different time periods, but in the process of doing that, they have to reincarnate their own soul i guess and so that explains why they were found dead at the begging of the series.

The emna are basically like i predicted, beings from the "out zone" that are trying to collapse the soul. So the children of befort are all victims of the emna in this manner because they basically all died as well and reanimated them self's with their own technology and design of the zone.

Now the humans from earth have some how gotten their hands on this technology from another world and are using it to try and create their own zone. My guess is that fragment they found is probably from greecia and that is how they were able to decipher the information, to be able to create such experiments and in doing so, they created humans that had disastrous side affects like Kerscher.

This is just a guess, but i have a strong feeling that the guy Dumas, or as hes called "demian" has a huge significant role in how GED is able to create such experiments.

Did i miss anything? lol their was certainly alot their to cover.

and wtf was with thumas having that dream? and also Damian looking up at this Girl in a capsule. Yet more mystery's to be uncovered.

Now there all headed towards the place where Helga used to live on earth to discover her past life.

Geese after watching something like this, i feel like watching something a little more easy or casual, like a shonen series or something lol.

It certainly is just full of mystery and is compelling and interesting, but the execution could of been a bit better at the begging, but i shouldn't jump to conclusions until i finished the show.

Pretty crazy development, didn't thought that Helga would be the princess of their home planet! Well this sure is getting really interesting, so let's see what's next!

Finally this was the episode I've been waiting for, now just about everything fits into place.

Except for Thoma, why is he having those visions? Is he one of them?

So basically why did they send the soul of the princess to Earth? =.=' They could still live on their planet or even leave it via space ship, so sending her to an unknown place is out of blue... The explanation is poor and disappointing.

the amount of information confused me a bunch yet again, i was tempted to leave in the middle of the episode and take a break to cool my brain. but i decided that i had to stick with it and eventually things got simpler. that bloody dream though... the guy under thoma looked kinda like him, except with greece(the water planet) features. this is just my observation though, could be totally different dude. that hug was weiiiird. it was creepy with thoma's unfocused eyes and that hug... like the close ups of him grabbing helga's waist and her telling him to stop, that was weird. i don't know how i feel about it lolll

Wow, great episode, even tho it wasn't quite easy to comprehend everything at once.

So OSL is soul energy and the Children were able to travel through time and get reborn via their created Autozone. Furthermore, they used it also to send Tinas spirit to earth.

Dunno how to think about the princess plot, but the rest is very interesting.

And that was Tinas former body at the end, right ?

I've been willing to watch this series since more than 10 years. One of my friends was talking about it. I never knew what is it talking about.
But I'm glad I've watched it.
I think even without giving more informations, it still has a good story and pace. Some of these shows have a solid story but the pace is slow. Or it's too mysterious which you won't even bother to watch.

This episode has shown most of the puzzle. Not to the next stage of the story. Hope it keeps improving.

So far I've enjoyed the series, but the revelations make me re-evaluate what we've seen. Now that we know what the Befort children are, I'm worried that most of what we've seen was actually meaningless, merely scenes to prolong the mystery instead of containing actual plot. For example, we had many scenes of the children running around in historical settings, and the detective with his assistant trying to find out what they truly are. These scenes were fine to watch as little hints about the truth, but in retrospect I'm not sure whether they contributed anything to the actual plot. Now it feels like the 13 episodes could be summarized as extraterrestrials searching for their princess on Earth, and that is too simple a solution to feel satisfying.

Moreover, I'm not happy about how the mystery was solved by the characters simply explaining things in a couple of episodes. The key to a good mystery is that the viewers are given enough information to figure out some things by themselves, even if there's some genius character who finds the missing piece. But here we simply had elements like beings from another planet with a different existence in time and an accessible realm of the dead, things exposed all at once. Instead of being awed by everything suddenly making sense, I'm just baffled by how things turned out to be, since I hadn't seen any indication of the children being extraterrestrial beings before these last episodes.

Well, now that the mystery has been mostly solved, I'm hoping that the plot will truly start.

One thing I'm speculating on is the role of Thoma and Chitto. Could they be aliens too? Just thinking about what would be a satisfying conclusion, it would make sense that they could be the husband and child of the princess. I don't know whether the princess is an adult in her homeworld like the scientists, but if she is, Thoma's romantic interest in her makes more sense if they already have a connection. Or is it romantic? At least Thoma is very possessive. But if Thoma and Chitto were aliens, the scientists should recognize them as well (?)

That clears even more things up, especially regarding the children. So what's up with Thoma zoning out and grabbing Helga anyway?
