| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Discussion for the short called "Deadshot" Couldn't tell whether or not this was a continuation from the last one, but I suppose it doesn't matter anyways. Animation was cool in this one, sniper shot cool on the first kill, but I didn't feel this one stood out in any particular way. Whether it was the gun speech or just the punching the bullet midflight, I just didn't really like this one as much as the others. All in all, I think these were a solid set of accompanying shorts, nothing too great, but very entertaining, can't wait for Gotham Knight to come out later this year. |

| This one wasn't very good. I didn't like the animation style, and the dialog seemed too cheesy. This one was a bit of a fail. All in all, for my opinion on the entire OVA, it was ok. Definitely worth a watch just for episode 4 and 5. |

| I liked the animation and I approve of Batman's manliness. Madhouse did a great job delivering action in each of their episodes. I liked Bruce's character design in this episode compared to ep 4, but I think ep 4 was a bit more stylish overall. |

Probably my second or third favorite. I really wish I could do that little trick with the little beverage sword... man that would be so much fun to scare the shit out of people with. imagine that with a pencil. |
| These last three were definitely the best to me. Just like Madhouse's episode 4 this one felt like it would have been a great episode in the 90s Batman animated series. It was written by Alan Burnett who was one of the best writers from the Batman animated series. I'd love to see Madhouse make a regular series of Batman. Deadshot very well done. It would be an interesting fight between Deadshot and Golgo 13 although I think Golgo would win. I can't wait for The Dark Knight. |

| This was the segment I was most eager to see and I wasn't disappointed. The art was incredible and I really liked how they worked in his childhood. I felt a little let down by Deadshot's characterisation at the end, but whatever. It was still a great short. |

| Top notch animation, particularly liked the eyes in the bat suit and the bat signal at the end, very well detailed. Not much else I can say of this episode. I thought that he seemed a little too mild near the end, but not too bad. It is pretty reminiscent of a comic book style. Clever Madhouse. |

| This one was alright, but I had problems with how powerful Batman was in this episodes. He dodge & intercepted bullets, could practically fly (instead of just glide). He just seemed closer to Superman than Batman in this one. A minor comment establishing Deadshot as the one who killed Teresa Williams also seemed like a rushed way to tie up all the plot threads and didn't really impress me. So, a good OVA that didn't quite go out with a bang. |

| My second favorite. This one was exciting, and Deadshot is a cool villain. As said previously, Batman can deal with pain. |

| Yeah, Batman seemed a bit overpowered here and Deadshot wasn't handled well. But, I like the stuff involving the guns and Bruce's monologue at the end. |

| That sure was a huge change in art! But I quite liked this ending, the overall 6 episodes were pretty interesting and had its own touch to them and to be honest I wouldn't mind a full Batman series! All in all pretty good. |

| I thought the finale would feature Joker but Deadshot is not bad. Batman sure charged recklessly to Deadshot, but I guess it was a calculated move from him. I enjoyed this ova because it had a mixture of batman animations that were superb to watch, with a mixture of Japanese and Western style. Although some of the plots were lame and other batmen were a little off I still enjoyed it even if Joker wasn't there in all of them. Also the plot didn't connect with the whole ova, it was like a comic cartoon instead of a plot anime. You can't have Batman without joker, its impossible and so I will give it a 7/10. |

| DeadShot is a cool villain but ye Batman is just better though this is one of the best episode of this anthology no doubt since i think the first episode is still the best |
