THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Honestly, I was not expecting much from the movie. However, when Hikari dropped dead with the world emitting no sound, it sent a chill down my spine. She sure looked odd with Luminous practically all gold; otherwise they looked great endowed with diamonds. The real mystery is whether Nagisa got those desserts for half-off at the grocery store or not. |

yeah the part of hikari dropping dead was great, i just love nagisa´s super ass kicking attacks, who needs a precure heartcatch orchestra when you can punch like her |
Being a fan is like having a penis. Its nice to be proud of it But don't pull it out in public and wave it in other's faces Kyurem Black. Kyurem White. Together they are Pretty Kyurem. |

Hikari hit on my nerves during the whole season. See her near-dead was such a good thing :) Nagisa's punching's assault was so cool. |

It still had too many cliches for my liking, but the action was great stuff. Unfortunately even with this film being kinda mediocre, it's the best iteration-specific Precure movie I've seen so far. |

Decent movie, first (and hopefully last) Precure entry I give less than a 7/10 and that makes me sad. The action was good as usual, but the story or how the characters were handled didn't really do anything to me, I wasn't bored but I didn't find anything memorable from this. |

The subs of this film on the site I've watched isn't really optimal. I don't mind swearing, but I doubt it's an appropriate translation for a mostly girls' show. The subs are also inconsistent with the fonts whenever Nagisa talks (i.e. her font is different from all the other characters whenever they talk). And the subbers decided to add "now you're just being creepy" as a subtitle/side comment (not very professional!). To be fair, if I remember correctly films back then could use at least one cursing and it would still retain its E rating. I think the subs are ok. At least they gave us some fun facts during the credits of the film. Now with that out of the way, let's move on. I like this film and its various elements I know and love from the TV series. To be fair, I know a lot of people aren't very fond of Shiny Luminous fighting capabilities, but she was that bad in this film. I know in the show, she had moments like that as well. Maybe I just like her character, but I don't remember her being that bad in the main series. She's the life of the queen of light for Pete's sake! Oh well, I like her heroic sacrifice when the witch returned to the Garden of Hope for the 2nd time. She truly is the queen's life. And also, I really like how the Garden of Hope had a Fujimura lookalike. I didn't really like Square. And of course, even after the ship exploded and Nagisa saved him he still acts with an attitude (like, maybe I'm just being a little hopeful bit I expected him to at least warm up a bit in that scene). I was expecting that maybe he would respect the Cure team a bit since he saw them in a fight (one of the earlier scenes where the Garden of Hope warriors 'fight' the Cure team in a coat). Unless if he wasn't part of that fight or something? I don't want to be biased and think that it's all Square's fault. I can admit that Nagisa had some problems as well. But if he really wanted the Garden of Hope (and the rest of the 'omniverse') saved, then he should have dropped the act. Unless if he's the leader or something, if I were one of the Garden of Hope warriors, I would have assigned him to do something else (that of course, involves protecting their queen or something). It's kind of "negative", but hey, if it's a means to deter him from discouraging Nagisa then I think it's a fairly ok compromise. Eh, maybe it's just me and my opinion. I'm not really that mad about it. Some people do like drama. But hey, at least he warms up towards the end of the film. And I'm pretty happy for that. I've been waiting for that moment. At first, I kind of couldn't believe (Arienai!) the supposed "death" of Marquis. But then, yeah, I thought to myself that they can't do this to a girls' show. They have to write it in a way so that Marquis remains alive. I had the same reaction to Hikari's "death" in this film as well. Like, damn. It's actually kind of unexpected for them to do that. Man, I didn't really expect I'd write this much for an relatively obscure PreCure movie, lmao. |

Now, this movie was really something. I'm 20 episodes through the Max Heart series at the time of this post, but the action in this movie reminded me of the first season of Futari wa Precure, where Cure Black's "ass kicking" was dialled up to 11! I'm quite certain that Shiny Luminous actually died at one point in this movie, which was quite shocking, although she was thankfully revived. Near the end, where Square cried in Honoka's arms, my eyes began to water, and I became very emotional. This movie had it all. I look forward to watching the second Max Heart movie, somewhere between episodes 34 and 36, as I've been told that's when I should watch it. |

Honestly, this wasn't all that great, though, certainly somewhat better than the TV-series. I couldn't really care less for what happened, and even from a technical standpoint, this isn't anything more than an average movie. |

I understand it's the first precure movie, but this was pretty mediocre. I've skipped around watching precure seasons but it could be nice to see how the seasons and movies change as time goes on Really funny how the subs made the butler say "The fuck?" when Mipple explained that Nagisa and Honoka have to transform together |

Foi bem interessante essa junção de união. O inimigo não ser tão fácil de derrotar. Há sempre idas e vindas nas lutas, achei bacana nisso. |

this could have really benefitted from more movie-unique music and more soundtracking and pacing during the first 2/3'rds or so in general. but yes, the whole final act felt great. an acceptable first attempt at a movie for the franchise |
