Okay, I won't say much on this episode because I already said most of it on the speculations thread. Aezile said: Goodbye Invasion arc, Hello SS1! Yosh, GROUP has appeared! Will Accel' do what he has been told since he has been forced to join and welcome the darkness? and as for Touma, ahaha, he's still the same, misfortune still lingers around him xP Lastly, the 3rd hero, can anyone guess who it is? :D Oh and, this time I was able to watch it LIVE via ' UNDERLINE ', if you know what I mean >:D Well then, everyone. Discuss! :D |

This episode was awesome and I'll be waiting patiently for my Railgun2/Index3. D: |

IndexFanboy214 said: But please not a railgun 2 WRONG, Railgun 2 would be an awesome welcome to most fans. The problem is that Index has WAY TOO much idiotic moments, inconsistencies, and Touma is NOT the greatest Male lead. I'm not necessarily a Touma hater, but I do wish we had someone else, I hate his BS speeches and his HAX power is REALLY getting Annoying. I won't pretend that Railgun is a better story, but it's definitely MORE entertaining and fun than BOTH Index seasons. The characters are likable (Uiharu is probably the only exception), the episodes are fun, and best of all no BS from the Main character (MIKOTO). The Railgun manga is pretty good, and I think they have sufficient chapters to make a second season. Trust me, I don't like admitting that Railgun is better, Index is the MAIN story it should be better than Railgun....unfortunately that is not the case. |

I seem to have missed like 50 episodes or something cause everything suddenly does not make sense. So super secret GROUP makes their grand debut out of nowhere and making her comeback completely out of random is teleporter girl in their ranks. And now I thought Accelerator being recruited into GROUP made enough sense... until suddenly he gets a call from Tsuchimikado and they sound like they have been in cahoots for some time? What the fuck? It's like random things are just being pulled out of someone's ass. Oh, and not to mention even more shady secret stuff going with frog doc and Mr. upside-down-man. In the meantime, after Touma oh so bravely saves the girl of the day, he now worries about rising prices on meat and vegetables and learning English. Now the only thing we need is Mikoto being an annoying tsundere and throwing sparks here and there and we'll complete the circle! |

I thought I was the only one that felt like this, I didn't want to seem like a complete moron by asking JUST WHAT THE FUCK happened, but you summarized it pretty nicely. I don't get it, and at this point I DON'T CARE!!! Thankfully there's only one more episode, the preview made it look even more random than the actual episode. Somehow Mikoto's mom is back and she's hanging out with Accelerator!!!......ok, sure, that makes sense. |

Wow, it really is confusing if you didn't read the novel for this and I'm one of them xDD Good thing I pay attention always so I'm less confused :D They showed us the other members of God's seat a total of 4(Vento, Acqua, Tenla, Fianma) Unabara was the mage in S1 and he is now part of the GROUP Skillout was introduced in Railgun so I already know what they're up to xDD ...but some things doesn't make sense to me... Well, the first part, all this shit with Touma and Kazakiri, was just that. Shit. Then there was Himegami and Fukiyose. Of that, of course, I approve. And suddenly, Touma's going to... study English! Wow, what a great choice. So, isn't it funny how this whole season more or less feels like a huge build-up for what happens after it's over? Ain't that great? >_> |

Now the only thing we need is Mikoto being an annoying tsundere and throwing sparks here and there and we'll complete the circle! Ok, I'll do a bit of explaining. At this point Group has practically just been made, and no, they don't know each other beforehand (except for Acc-Awaki's brief encounter), so likewise, Accelerator just recently met Tsuchimikado. Just as a little background, Group is one of several 4 cell teams that do dirty work for the Academy. Anyway, aside from Tsuchimikado, the rest of Group was somehow coerced into it (as far as I know.) "Unabara" was captured by the Academy after his fight with Touma. He accepted working for them, having nowhere to go as he betrayed his sect by deserting his mission, but also to stay in the Academy to keep an eye on and protect Mikoto, as he vaguely suggested when he told Accelerator that they all have someone to protect. Awaki was "thrown" into Group as penance for her betrayal of the Academy, holding "something" important to her as insurance (It will be revealed in due time what exactly that is.) Accelerator is also supposed to be doing "penance" for damaging the Academy, and more important, killing 3 directors. Of course, the real deal is him joining Group in exchange for leaving Last Order alone. About Touma, if you watch the episode again, it's Fukiyose who's worried about the prices, not him. What's not said is why he wanted to learn english. He does have a reason, though quite silly. He wants to learn english in order to dialogue with his enemies from the Roman Catholic Church to reach a peaceful solution, considering how unlikely it is for them all to know japanese… Silly, but makes sense if you remember Touma's modus operandi, how else would you expect him to preach to people if they can't understand him? And about Frog face and Aleister's relationship Heaven Canceller (Frog face) found and treated a dying Aleister long ago, when he was a magician pursued by the magic side. He also helped him found Academy City (which was in fact Frog face's idea)… The current point in the story is where Heaven Canceller has had it with Aleister's antics, especially since he doesn't plan to change them, and "parts ways" with him (not that he goes anywhere.) Oosran said: So, isn't it funny how this whole season more or less feels like a huge build-up for what happens after it's over? If that's they're ideal on this season, then I say, i wouldn't be surprised if their DVD/BD or any Index anime related stuff sales gone down. It'll made me think that why does Index sinked this low, it supposed to be better than season 1, then i'll be having a second thought when buying the DVD/BD's. Though even saying that, I already bought Vol. 1 of it. Anyway, it'll really be a good season 3 if they left Vol. 20-22 out and make it a movie, Vol. to 14-19 is good enough to be a season 3 since it'll fit when they make every episode in detail, taking into account that they did their very best(High resolution fights and included important detailed scenes and events), just like what they did on S1's 1st arc ' Index Librorum Prohibitorum ' it took them 6 episodes and ' Angel Fall '(5) to finish the arc in a very entertaining and interesting way. |

Kuroko was annnoying as hell with her constant yuri raep shit and Misaka was just plain boring, she just wasn't interesting at all only showing she has childish tastes and a gekota obsession. The ONLY time she was interesting was when she was interacting with Touma and that stuff is always fun.alexcampos said: Nayrael said: I don't think this Anime even tries to be kind towards Anime-Only public. Guess the whole targeted audience are those who read the Light Novels (true, it ain't no small audience) That's just retarded, maybe instead of giving us 100 stupid episodes from the Oriana Arc, they could have focused more on this, I would have gladly watched this over Mr. HAX beating up another girl which he should have lost to. OR.... they could do a third season, after all, what's better than making more money from Japanese Otaku??? All of this just reinforces my belief that J.C Staff is making a mediocre adaptation of a VERY popular LN which is probably not that great to begin with. Uhhh. No. Too far. You can blame JC for making the adaptation bad, but if you haven't read the Light Novels dont say shit like that. No one that has read the books or found out the story has said it sucks. You should read instead of saying Railgun has better characters. |

It felt... rushed? I guess they really wanted this series to end, huh? And, hahaha, how I missed Etzali's voice <3 Oh, and... The serious talk with Tsuchimikado after sukiyaki... "I'm going to start learning english!" Tsuchimikado's expression was... priceless xDDD AAAAH, I MISSED MUSUJIME <333 Seriously, I love this episode, though it still felt kinda rushed and all... Just put 'Like it' :3 |

Yeah I know. She'll be back in season 3 though. Aezile said: IndexFanboy214 said: Yeah I think a movie of 20-22 would be a very good idea. Then season 4 as New Testament.Anyway, it'll really be a good season 3 if they left Vol. |

TAMNI has flaws and some stuff could have been handled better, but it still beats Railgun. |

I will say that Railgun SS2 should be animated before Index SS3. It will be good characters build-up for those "Girls" before they appear in Index SS3. Actually,I want Railgun SS2 to see "them" not Mikoto. |

It was cool to see Himegami again and have Tsuchimikado and Accel talking on the phone, and also cool to see that Accel hate relying on a device. But otherwise it was a pretty confusing and/or boring ep. |

Aezile said: IndexFanboy214 said: They rushed this whole season to make it easier for a possible third season. Season 1 consisted of 6 volumes so it didn't feel rushed. Season 2 consisted of 8 volumes and episode 1 was supposed to be a part of season 1. Season three would probably be 7 volumes for an ideal ending unless JC staff decides to be smart and put SS2 as an OVA. Actually, it seems Japan is very happy.Season 2 DVDs so far have sold around the 18,000. Which according to this is a "massive hit" http://animapple.blogspot.com/2010/12/info-misconception-breaker-dvdbd-sales.html Season 1: V.1 of index sold, according to what iv'e read, around 10,000 in total sales to date. Compared to V.1 of season 2's 18,000. |
