Captain Dyce joins the team and they raid Industria! Im really looking forward to the events that are happening to the planet, I dont remember any of this, I probably never watched the second half.

Leaving Monsley alive is causing the group some troubles, but saving Dyce's life has helped them out. The results of mercy balanced out, good and bad.

Conan has a lot of forethought when it comes to Lana. They were chasing the ship so he ran along to help boost her up. As soon as that was done he doubled back for equipment, having known it was necessary but making the extra effort for her. He cheerfully does this stuff all the time. Like when they were alone in the desert, he woke up and immediately searched for fruit to keep her hydrated, then quietly juiced it into her mouth before sleeping himself.

Normally that kind of relationship would be one-sided, unequal chivalry. But Lana never asks for it or expects it. Her and Conan are in sync enough to agree on helping Dyce without a word, yet she's still surprised when Conan routinely goes the extra mile.

Freaking ten year olds are setting the bar for matured relationships, as they dance around in circles at the thought of assaulting Imperial prison. awesome show

Dr. Lao's flying machine looks like Die Glocke, a secret Nazi experiment that was a flying bell shaped machine about that same size.

Dyce reminds me of Tuco from The Good The Bad and the Ugly. Absolute scoundrel but somehow impossible to hate.

Looks like Dr. Lao and Lana may be in trouble if Lepka's men get to them in the triangle tower, but I think Conan knows that now, so hopefully he'll come to the rescue once again.

I know what you mean. I absolutely love Tuco. I don't know if he has the nuance Tuco does but Dyce is certainly compelling.
He also has this Zenigata-ish sensitivity which is brought out in him whenever he sees that Lana is safe.
