This episode brings about even more interesting revelations. Fakir being a direct descendent of Drosselmeyer could make him the most powerful one in the story should he be able to properly use his power. I'm still finding it kind of funny though how he's turned from a knight into an author.

Drosselmeyer's talk in the end is very strange. Back in episode 24 he said Tutu got all the pieces of Mytho's heart and then quickly told her that wasn't the case. This episode he sounds happy that the story is turning out tragic like he wanted it but then says he wants to stop it. His back and forth is like he's got multiple personalities or something.

And lastly, Mytho has become such a prick the past few episodes.

...even a saint needs a soldier to do the dirty work.

fakir being a direct descendant of drosselmeyer, touching the stone, turning into a tree... simply unpredictable. and mytho has superiority complex.

Autor didn't want Ahiru and Uzura to come inside because he wanted to be alone with Fakir so he could do bad things to him :D I like the part when he got Fakir all wet. Tutu rubbing herself against the oak tree was rather disturbing

Yeah, I never saw that coming. I really like the music that's playing at that scene (Dance of the Knights from Romeo & Juliet) There's another name next to Fakir's on the scroll. Does that mean he had a sibling? :o

I like that the writing a story that will come true isn't so easy. It would have been lame if Fakir could just write something and they'd all be saved immediately.

I feel sorry for Rue. Mytho has been extra mean to her lately. And he was really creepy at the end. his voice actor does such a great job (:

btw, Edel is made from the wood of the oak tree. That's why they talk the same way.

Everything's a bit emo right now...xD Rue, Mytho, Ahiru, Fakir at least a bit. Oh my...Okay, Mytho's also a weirdo atm xD

I was wondering...how could Fakir keep standing for three days? o.O Without...I mean...feeling the urge to use the privies? xDD

Ah, whatever. I'm really curious what's about to happen next! ö.ö

The whole story is getting all messed up; I can see why Drosselmeyer is worried XD

This episode really had me look at everything with a different perspective, very nice twist.

Wow. This is show has me speechless. So much has happened and has been revealed in the last few episodes my head is spinning. One thing has me very puzzled:

Exactly! This guy is super-conflicted in his speeches. Why is that?

I am also understanding why Tutu was such a small character in the original story; the only person it seems who can change the tragedy is Fakir.

A descendent of Drosselmeyer? That's quite the revelation. So Fakir's role is changing from a character in the story to an author of it. It's interesting how it's foreshadowing at him being more important as a writer than a knight. The pen is mightier than the sword, after all.

Hmm I had a feeling that Fakir was some sort of descendant of Drosselmeyer. Then he almost turns into an oak tree o_o Story getting more dramatic!

Wow Lilie is the weirdest girl

There were a couple moments where I felt the music was a bit off... But at least it was an "arc episode". I liked the change of pace and the revelations.

I really felt for Duck when she couldn't do anything to help Fakir when he was a tree. And I've been wondering whether she can control her transformation or it just happens when she sees someone is in trouble.

Lmao, Drosselmeyer running around with wrenches at the end.
Of all possible plot twists I totally did not expect this to happen!!

Fakir's "journey" into the tree was fun to watch, unpredictable. I like how Ahiru is struggling with not being able to do anything. It's like she's anxious for being a side character in the prince's story (which she is, in the original version, as mentioned several times), yet can't escape her role. So even if Fakir rewrites the future, Ahiru still won't be in control of her own destiny as a main character would be. So in a way the series explores the real experience of everyone feeling like they're the main character, the conflict when to everyone else's story each person is a side character, and how lost you are if you start feeling like the side character you are to everyone else.

I still don't like how they introduce characters only when needed. This time they needed a mentor figure to explain Fakir's role, so they created Autor. It destroys the immersion since it's so easy to see the cogs, what wheels are put into motion to make characters move.

Fakir being Drosselmeyer's descendant was definitely surprising. I wonder what kind of woman agreed to be with Drosselymeyer, although knowing Drosselmeyer and his tendency to be selfish with his powers, he might've even altered reality to force some poor woman to be with him.

@Feorg I actually like the last aspect of it. It's truly a book, a meta story. This anime is ultimately a self aware book. Everyone else is an extra, unless you need them.
