| Kuuro getting to work already. Linaris is here too and makes an impression, not bothered by events around her. Knew this anime would go into a dark path and that feeling of despair carries into this season. The military is merciless. |

| Damn, they skipped Grey-haired child introduction and Togie City raid by Mestexil. Not the best parts, but they provide great buildup to how manipulative Grey-haired child is and how powerful Mestexil is. But I am happy Linaris got 17 minutes and they even added some anime-only scenes, like him getting a task from Enu. Some parts were slightly rushed, but overall I was happy, but I still prefer the novel version, unlike the Mele part that I prefered in the anime. Still, coming in, I knew that many things will be skipped since they are covering so much in just 12 eps, I'm still overly happy with the adaptation and think it's pretty good, can't be helped when some things aren't how I imagined/changed/skipped. Also the OP was an absolute banger. I'm gonna have to replay it over and over again for a while. There was a lot of emphasis on how cunning Linaris was in the OP. Also I don't think there was much of Soujirou, Kia, Kuze, Shalk there, if any. But you can see just how many new characters there are, it might be a little overwhelming. About 20 new characters. Gonna be looking forward to the next 2 episodes the most, as Toroa is my favorite character, really looking forward to hearing his voice and his death glare and how the fights with enchanted swords are gonna be animated. Mestexil was also someone I looked forward to, wanna hear his laugh and fighting. |

| They cooked with the OP and ED, safe to say they absolutely hold a candle to the first seasons’s songs which were very hard to beat, and Mayu Maeshima fits this series so well, she always makes bangers, same with sajou no hana who I’m so glad are back, they’re doing the ED this time but it doesn’t mean it ripped any less, of course the visuals showcasing all the characters are sick like before too. And about the episode itself, how the fuck did I guess that Linaris was a vampire the moment she was on screen lol, I just watched Shiki so I know these parasites too well, they welcome you in all smiles but look away for a few seconds and your family is dead, my Shiki PTSD is too real lol. That Enu guy was really smart in issuing the kill order right away, but unfortunately for him, he was already in the palm of Linaris’ hand, RIP all those poor soldiers, I’m not totally sure how she managed to infect all of them but if it was actually airborne then that’s basically game over, that’s an incredibly OP way for vampires to spread their infection, and speaking of I really like the way vampires work in this world, super cool stuff. But Linaris isn’t alone, she’s got her own squad of elites, I doubt they’re all shura level strong but I don’t doubt they are dangerous, and with Enu getting them into the tournament I’m sure we’ll find out how strong they are soon enough, if we get a third season that is which I really hope we do, I already know who I want to lose first with Linaris entering the lineup, she’s pretty and cool but the only good vampire is a dead one lol. |

| Fire OP, good ED, awesome episode. This season of ISHURA be cooking fr. I knew something was up with Linaris from the beginning cause beautiful, hot, and mysterious girls like her aren't usually normal. And I was right, lol. Still, she is quite captivating...    |
| Wow, what anime character is more beautiful than Linaris? That girl is perfection holy... This anime is heavily underrated, such a shame. I was very suspicious that she was a vampire or some form of ghoul since I saw her at first with her aesthetics with the black roses and everything. She gives off those vibes. |
| I'd do whatever Linaris says even without being her corpse. I feel sorry for that guy though, I hoped all it would take is him apologizing sincerely and she's not hurt him. Oh well. Considering Linaris was disapproving of the soldiers being brought over, to me this possibly implies the letter was not to lure them in but must have been to infect important people as a biological warfare tactic. |

| OP BANGS!! Is that my goat Maeshima Mayu I hear??? Looks like this cour is going to give a lot of focus to Kuuro. Admittedly not a big fan of him, but he’s seemingly getting fleshed out so I’ll go in with an open mind Touyama Nao voiced character and Linaris is absolutely gorgeous, can’t fault bro for simping but holy fuck the end of this episode was brutal. The prettiest faces do the ugliest things. Did not expect to see Enu’s whole security task force kill each other like that. Nice but brutal payoff to his lecture about epidemiology earlier in the ep. Guess they haven’t discovered masks yet in this world lmao. It’s crazy how every time I think I’ve seen the most broken character in this series, the next episode just introduces someone even more powerful or with an even cheesier skill. On the surface Linaris is definitely one of the most dangerous people in the tournament. I’m dying to see her take on someone like Soujirou for instance though. |
