Welp, it's sadly back. Took legit the whole year, but we've sadly made it to the day where this came back. The question is, will the pacing be better? And the question on everyone's mind, will it look passable, at the very least? Well, let's see.

Not even a recap, no nothing, just straight to the episode as if it's only been a week or something since we've been here. Would've preferred one because other than the main couple and Shiho I don't remember anyone, nor anything that's been going on. Though, from the look of things, some sort of cultural festival is in the works.

Might just be my bad memory, but I don’t get it, why would not interacting with them again be a bad thing? Feels like one less person’s drama to deal with. Yeah, Shiho struggles with her feelings, but that doesn’t excuse how she’s been acting. Does author want us to feel bad for her or just hate her even more?

But yeah, drawings aren't as inconsistent as they were months back, but they still aren't that great in certain scenes. As for Shiho though, I don’t even know what to say, she’s just being annoying because her crush likes someone else. Can’t like her unless they give her a redemption arc or something. Like LOL, it’s hilarious how both of them just freeze up suddenly like bruh... And Shiho? How can you be so clueless.

But yeah, Shiho finally spilled her feelings, feels like a huge weight’s lifted. But Aki? Girl’s still stuck in the past. She needs to just confess to Yori, not for a yes or no, but just to get it off her chest and move on already.

After almost 6 months of production hell (with only Yokohama Animation Lab's name and nowhere of Cloud Hearts mentioned), the show is back to finish what it started.

Shiho's rivalry with Aki that's tearing her to pieces because it connects both music and feelings towards this endeavour, it's quite hard for Himari to take this all in. Add the fact of both Momoka and Hajime being in the same club, it at least helps relieve Himari of Shiho's feelings somewhat. While Laureley goes first on the first day with SSGIRLS the day after, Aki's matter is simply too great to ignore, and Himari playing the middleman in the midst of this is quite the depression, though tension at this point remains carefree with the prep of the bands coming along for the cultural festival.

Himari's first festival being spent with Yori first, then her actual job with the cooking club, to then be followed by both Himari and Aki's younger sister Miki to her class cosplay cafe, it's just a joy at that. But then again, Himari just being the center of the conflict to settle the feud between Aki and Shiho, even if it means using her as a foil for these two to vent their issues at one another, it ultimately boils down to Shiho being in love with Aki, but that the latter is too focused on Yori, and even after the fact that she could not get along with Shiho.

Shiho's broken heart, steeled cold for their band's performance to prove they're superior to SSGIRLS, and that's that for the girl who lost her first love just like that.

Our lovebirds are finally back. I have missed this show. I had already forgotten the name of the characters.

Shiho was finally able to tell about her true feelings. Good for her. Aki also needs to make her move.

I would like to see a happy ending for everyone without a single broken heart.

Finally Shiho finally grew a spine and told Aki about her feelings instead of hiding it behind her petty and Bitchy attitude.

So I won't be watching episode 12 because it looks like it goes past volume 8 which in English vol 9 isn't out till late next year.

As an anime its pretty good but as a adaptation its terrible

After almost a year, it's finally back. I even started to believe that the last episodes would never be released, especially when they announced it on April Fool's Day. With all the time that passed, I had to watch a recap, otherwise I would have been completely lost. Sadly, the disorganization with the studio's schedule has affected my overall score for this anime. What a shame.

At least I got to see Himari again, who helped Aki talk to Shiho. But seriously, they both have issues. Aki, for not realizing Shiho's feelings and pressuring her not to walk away, and especially Shiho, who continues to be frustrating. She distances herself from others but blames them for not understanding her, even though she never expresses her feelings clearly. Well, at least she finally confessed to Aki that she was, or rather still is, in love with her.

This show has gotten so meh I didn't even bother to watch the recaps. Thank god this mess is finally about to be over.

Underwhelming episode... again. Production values remain as mediocre as before the hiatus announcement and seeing Shiho acting like the victim when most of the drama is caused by her is seriously testing what's left of my patience.

6 months later… it returned, contrary to when Kino said “it’s been a week since then” lmao, yeah if only. But despite what most are saying, I’m happy it’s finally back for its final two episodes, I really enjoyed this show for what it was even with the issues it had, yes this episode wasn’t much better and still had minimal animation and some iffy art here and there, but it was mostly good imo and the story beats were intense.

So in the process of Kino trying to be the mediator in Aki and Shiho’s drama, things may have gotten way worse when Aki friend zoned Shiho and made her go nuclear, that was pretty wild lol. And this may have made Shiho unstable emotionally, but she still killed it on stage, those scenes looked really nice too, just a taste of how great the whole show could have been but I still appreciate the attention there. But really I feel bad for Aki, after the cute moments between Yori and Kino during the school festival, she’s over here realizing how dumb she is for not noticing Shiho’s feelings, I mean no one can read minds so I don’t blame her as much as she’s blaming herself, but it was still a good moment, I’m excited to see what’s been cooked up for the long awaited finale of this Spring 2024 show.

I'm glad to see this series has finally made its return. The animation quality didn't improve much. Too many slideshow moments, but I didn't notice any of those poorly drawn facial features in this one. Most of the episode was nothing special, but I really liked the scene between Shiho and Aki there at the end of the episode. Shiho finally was able to speak truthfully and release some of those pent up feelings. It got me super excited for the finale. This part of the story is one of my favorite parts of the manga, so I'm just going to enjoy this series for what it is. Despite the flaws.

Wow so much drama as expected from this show. I enjoy how all the characters are likable despite their hardships and faults. I feel for both Shiho and Aki, it was truly a heartbreaking scene between them. I do hope they can make up or at least find some closure about their relationship and how it ended. Hima seems to have good intentions but I feel as though she does not need to be in the middle of all this. Excited for the next episode and these final episodes have pushed me to want to read the manga!
