 Production company Asmik Ace opened an official website for a television anime adaptation of Makoto Kudou's Bukiyou na Senpai. (My Awkward Senpai) manga on Monday. The website also revealed the main cast, staff, teaser visual (pictured), and a teaser promotional video. The anime is scheduled to premiere in 2025.Lynn (Bokutachi wa Benkyou ga Dekinai, Kidou Senshi Gundam: Suisei no Majo) is starring as Azusa Kannawa. Staff Director: Ayumu Kotake (Acro Trip) Series Composition, Script: Mio Inoue (Slow Start) Character Design: Kenrou Tokuda (Medaka Box sub-character design) Music: Kouji Fujimoto (Sus4 Inc.) (Jahy-sama wa Kujikenai!) Studio: Studio Elle Kudou began serializing the romantic comedy manga in Young Gangan magazine in December 2019. Square Enix shipped the eighth volume on August 23. The manga has a cumulative of over 550,000 copies in circulation. Synopsis Kannawa-senpai is considered many things, but smooth is definitely not one of them. Then she meets Kamegawa, her new Kouhai. He's cute, a little nerdy, and easy to talk to. How will this awkward Senpai be able to handle these new feelings?! | I'm so glad this got an anime!! One of my favorite manga! This'll be the first time for me to start with a manga and getting to watch the anime after. Although, I'm a bit afraid. I never heard of the studio and the current PV has... well, it's okay. I'll leave it at that. Is this unsure weird mix of happiness and anxiety what manga readers usually get when their favorite work gets adapted? Also, I'm okay with Azusa's voice! I loved Lynn's voice as Mafuyu Kirisu from Bokutachi wa Benkyou ga Dekinai (We Never Learn). More so than okay... isn't she the perfect fit?! |
