| Damn so Samura really was a traitor. This has me even more interested in eventually learning about the great war, because what the actual fuck kind of war crimes did the Sword Bearers commit and cover up to the point that Samura not only believed the Sword Bearers to be an evil "far filthier" than the Hishaku, but then he went and colluded with them in secrecy. After the implication that he was offscreened last chapter, I'm glad this chapter went back and showed what happened to Uruha. RIP to him 😔 I guess Chihiro's fight against Hiruhiko is on hold since he got transported at the end of the chapter (unless that fight was finished offscreen 💀), and as others have asked, what has Shiba been doing 😭 he could be pretty helpful right about now. Random thought a few hours after reading the chapter: I wish we saw Uruha get his EB back, and THEN we see Samura's betrayal which results in a full chapter or 2 of him and Uruha fighting to the death, EB vs. EB. Give us a little more time to spend with these characters before the twist. God that would have been so peak. I'm not saying this development was rushed but I do hope that Hokazono is mindful of how he paces things going forward because while I like that he wastes no time and gets straight to the point, that could potentially backfire in the long run if he isn't careful. |

| It was pretty obvious after the last chapter itself, but yeah, Uruha is done. Also as the history goes for the kind of character Samura is, I don't think he'd stay around longer as well. Anyway after this, we really do need a backstory of that grand war or something at some point. Things will make more sense that way. |

| Uruha was one tapped by Samura… damn. I really liked this dude, but he’s gone in a dark direction. I honestly understand his reasoning, but I’m sure there could have been better ways to go about protecting the swords from the hands of evil. Rokuhira unfortunately turned up to witness Samura killing(?) Uruha… does this mean he finished up his other fight already? This series keeps pulling twists and turns I’m not prepared for, not only genius action but also genius writing and storytelling. Kagurabachi is on top this week as always. Keep cooking! |

| Really good chapter but I kind of wish this chapter's events happened before the last one so it could of been alot harder hitting a surprise. I do hope Samura isnt some one off this arc villain he's got great potential for one that lasts a good chunk of the series. |

| Well, this is one of the ways to compliance the plot. Also I hope to see how Samura's "vow" to kill all the sword bearers is biting him in the ass and show how stupid his decision was. |

| I hope that samura does not die this arc. A rouge third faction that wants to kill everything might be kind of cool. it will mess with the balance of power in a unique way, maybe. whatever happens, I'm sure it will be good. |

| Nooo, so Samura has been a traitor for quite a while, even before the Hishaku attack on the temple. :( And death flags waving around Uruha in the previous chapters were indeed real death flags. 😭 I want to cope that perhaps he's still alive, but nah, it'd be a miracle if he actually survived Samura's slash. A spectacular and dramatic chapter. RIP Uruha. He didn't stand a chance against Samura wielding his Tobimune. Hakuri, after breaking his limits, broke them again to teleport Chihiro, who appeared right after Uruha got killed. Not only it was a shocking sight, but more importantly, Chihiro will have to deal with Samura targeting him next. After all, he's also the enchanted sword bearer. |
