There's a difference between review bombing purely for fandom wars and genuinely hating something. People can genuinely hate this episode, yet what I explicitly wrote about are clearly from accounts made for score inflation. I genuinely think AoT Season 4 is one of the worst pieces of fiction ever written, that has absolutely nothing to do with pathetic fandom wars. Hope this helps

It seems a bit crazy to say this, I spent years asking for the end of the Fullmetal fandom that was flooding with ratings 1, but today I discovered that they were a necessary evil, the top of evil turned into shit And any work gets an average of 9.00+ now, anything generic from a season gets almost 9. Unbelievable

I mean only 14 titles are rated at least a 9, and only 142 have reached 8.5 so I don't really think out of the tens of thousands of entries on here that its being flooded with generic shows rated almost a 9 or above. And if you look at franchises only, that number drops a ton because some shows (ex. Gintama) occupy a lot of spots.

It’s just nature balancing out. You really think this deserves to be rank 2 with only 15,000 ratings.

This is why there needs to be a minimum limit to get in the top 10. Does not make any conceivable sense an anime to be in top 10 with anything less than 150,000ish ratings.

It’ll help stop getting peoples hopes up lol and blaming other fandoms for when the show inevitably balances out to a more accurate rating

It deserves to even though the episode was amazing but it's not the second best anime in existence or I don't even know how Mal ratings work? I've seen many anime where much more people are giving episodes 5 stars with the episodes having ratings of 4.7, 4.8 but the anime is still ranked very low? How did this already get to top 2 with so many less votes? Mal rankings does not make sense to me.

Not this again. Why do ppl still don't get how mal works? This is pretty natural. Like u fr saying this deserves to be that high with that many number of ppl rating it? We all know it's mostly the fans who watch and rate this higher. Those 1s helps balance things a little. I mean still giving 1 is a shitty thing. But no way a 26 min ep deserves to be that high compared to whole series. And this will keep happening in the future too. Op has a huge fanbase and if smtg like this keeps coming out in the future, I'm pretty sure it'll be high up again. It's just a matter of time until it gets balanced and goes down. Same with most other series which make their way to the top. It's not just Op that's getting review bombed with 10s and 1s. So it's not really a big deal. I get it that it just feels good seeing the series u love being up there. So just feel good as long as it's there.

This shouldn't allowed to be in the list to begin with but MaL allows this types of clownery so its excepted that spammers take it as a competition of who can spam scores more.....Mal's top list broken to the core, so stop caring for it, you liked the episode, that's it.
