| Kanbaru has reverted to being the Rainy Devil! Saved by Black Hanekawa yay! God damn it Araragi. The first thing you check to see if Hanekawa is mirrored or not is her breasts. I'm disgusted and impressed at the same time. "Master of this world?" Not sure if she's being sarcastic or not, but considering that she's Hanekawa's other half, that does make sense... Go with a partner? Then just bring Black Hanekawa with you and have her drain Rainy Devil... Well that's a new way of saying that line. "I don't know everything. I just happen to know this." "Why a bookstore? Because when I saw Black Hanekawa, I had the desire to buy a porno mag." God damn it Araragi. Holy crap what happened to Sodachi...Her mirror is a complete 180...Where's muh twintails? Nadeko's hair looks...weird...and her personality too. Wait...she's the boss over Hachikuji? This is going to be interesting... Lol shrine offerings... That was pretty much the idea about the mirror self. I mean Black Hanekawa is pretty much Hanekawa's mirror anyway... "The place the surface of the mirror brought me to, shows the insides of people instead." So if everyone is still there just as Nadeko said, then I want to see what Senjougahara's mirror self is like. And in all honesty, I would not be surprised if she was not any different from her original self lol. |

| Seems like Shaft is back at it again with the abstract animation, with it being a step up from the animation of the previous episode. Very interesting to see that Araragi had the wrong idea about left and right being reversed, but the inner and outer side of a person being reversed with Hachikuji being an adult as she is on the inside and Ononoki making facial expressions like she does on the inside. Tsukihi is exactly as she appears, but Sodachi shows a totally different personality than seen in Owarimonogatari, which would be her true emotions in that case. I'm also curious what the role of the bath in Kanbaru's house will be in the story, as we already got a glimpse of what it could do in Koyomimonogatari. |

| Wow. That was one of the best Monogatari episodes that I've seen. Additionally this episode contains everything that I love about this franchise. |
| Kinda weird to see Sodachi like this, I definitely prefered her shouting kirai xD I didn't even recognize her at first. Storywise it's really interesting so far 👌🏻 |

| Amazing episode. Also seeing Nekokawa again felt like massive amounts of fanservice. I am pleased though. |

| Awwww, Kanbarua is a monkey... I was looking forward to her the most. Though it's always a pleasure to see Black Hanekawa, especialy if she's providing so much service mmmmh. Nadeshiko's explanation about mirrors was actually impressive. |

| So it's not just that the characters are reversed, but it's their other side. That makes a lot of sense given the characters we got to see in this episode like Hanekawa, Kanbaru, and Nadeko. Still kinda confused on Kagenoki though. Maybe it's cause Kagenui help create her, and that's why Ononoki imitates her in this world? Anyways, I'm just curious to see Hitagi in this world. |

| The new Sodachi is weird as hell. So in this 'mirror' world, you get to see the other side of the characters. It explains why Black Hanekawa and the Rainy Devil have returned. And N̶a̶d̶e̶k̶o̶ Kuchinawa once again has white hair and red eyes. She is also superior to Hachikuji. Her voice sounds so strange in this world. |

| No episode discussion of it so far. Anyway, typical monogatari episode. Didn't expect to see Sodachi again. I wonder if Shinobu will also appear in it. |
| One of those philosophical things that you'd never be able to describe to a normal person at all but somehow thematically works. "What do mirrors do?" "They reverse your appearance obviously" "No, think of inverted writing held up to a mirror" "Well those would be flipped - wait, no the characters don't need to be transformed to be understood, there's a commonality of communication between a word and a flipped word, so only the essence of that word is the constant." "Exactly, mirrors show the essence, the truth!" "Wait a minute, so mirrors show characters inside-out!" Okay....I'll roll with it? |

| I guess whoever made this thread didn’t use the episode discussion thread check thing because there’s no voting options lol. But this was quite the wild episode, there was a lot more weirdness to be had beyond what we saw in the first episode, including a Kanbaru who hasn’t had her snickers bar, Black Hanekawa who I guess is permanent now, an Oikura who is very into Araragi like I predicted, and finally Nadeko who appears to have never been reverted from her godhood, tho this version of her is pretty fun with how she talks and her funny laugh lol. But man poor Oikura, she has a much better life from the sound of it in this world but it is unfortunately a lie like she said. And after an explanation by Snake Nadeko, it was revealed that this mirror world isn’t necessarily flipping things from left to right, but really depicting the inside of people, although this seems like a stretch, you’re telling me the inside of Hachikuji is a big sister type? And Kanbaru is just in permanent monkey mode, along with permanent cat mode for Hanekawa? I mean it’s not a bad explanation but I just find it hard to believe, I feel like there’s gotta be more to it. And the last thing I wanted to mention was that it’s cool they made a callback to that episode about the bath water In Koyomimonogatari, what seemed like something insignificant became important later, feels like a special little reward for those that watched it lol. |

| Expressive Ononoki vs. Friendly Sodachi. No idea what's more cursed. Seeing Black Hanekawa again and in all her undressed glory sure felt nostalgic somehow. |
