I saw in the reviews that there are people seeing this anime disgusting in animation , so my question was, where ? ,
Anybody should make his research before speaking
And about last thing , my respect for all of you, but I have no respect
With who is thinking he is just a god of truth
Make your research before your speaking
Is the best way to survive any discussions
Even i will lose, but you will respect my research for what I believe 💯

Ey bro, we’re the same, the directory and progression of plot is really one of a kind. Ngl i kinda like it.

Some people say its slow, but i think, i think i can dive into this. Its really rare to see this now.
All in all, nice direction this anime took.

I also am tired of these judgemental super critics. Most of us enjoy anime, so when the superior crew enter chat and complain about everything from animation quality to too much ecchi or too little ecchi or too fast/slow paced I just take a deep breath and move on to the next comment. I’ve tried discussing the issues but they usually just throw insults. Not worth the time to read or answer them.

Not sure if OP is talking about this review, but I couldn't find anything else that is remotely close to calling it "disgusting in animation". (Sorry if I picked the wrong review)

I don't think this review is about the animations being "disgusting", it's about the animations being too minimalistic with having too many still images and not enough actual animation. Maybe they don't like the video filters that are used to display the characters' emotional states, maybe they don't like how the anime implies a lot of action without actually showing it. From our perspective it may look artistic, but for someone else it just looks cheap.

It's possible to make beautiful art with very limited resources. Animations always use tricks and illusions to make the viewer think of something that doesn't exist. But while animation tricks are nothing bad in-off themselves, I think it's a valid criticism if an anime relies too much on them.

I am saying if you don't like it, just fine
but I want to say that anybody should choose their words
but thank you that you made that for me clear
I respect you, man, and your opinion helped me a lot . Thanks 😊

If I wasn't watching Losing Heroines, this would probably be the prettiest and most well-produced thing I'm watching this season. We need more of these types of slow-burn/realistic types of romances out there that don't have much of a gimmick to em.

@Vaturna
minimalism has nothing to do with it, it can highlight various archetypes and thats the main reason why everyone watch anime, radicalism of things,, almost hitting the pure level of jungs archetipal mind

as video editor i can easly know when its "something made for purpose to highlight some aspects" or when

ITS FORCED TO MAKE AND EXTENDED as much as its possible because i do it

dont confuse "slow manga" which is good with forced animation, its just sign that nothing changed, anime industry still after 10 years didnt recover and follow japanese cultural bad loop..

you aren't listening to anyone, you know
I respect your work and what you are doing , but that doesn't mean to attack anime like that
you think the animation like paper, okay
I know it's not like oshi and alya in animation
but it's not bad Just like you said , you mentioned the manga you don't know the animation was taking from the LN
they don't depend on manga , you have read the manga, but again, the story away from the manga
as I said well animation,( not great )
so don't underestimate any work , because you don't know how they work on it , and it's about the story, not about animation only and the music too , don't underestimate other parts too
studio Dean doesn't have great anime for a moment now . This animation is its way back to earn some respect in the animation industry
62 animation successful
from 318 animation for studio Dean
so when you see this animation from the company, it is losing and trying now by this anime to force it's self to come back again
you should support them because they worked really well on this show
and what are you waiting from a romantic story
to have great animation ? not all of them will be , see the angle next door spoilsmerotten , they had some pointsin the animation but it goes , love is war is just like this for me too , same animation 2d like you said ,and there are people like it like that because it describes how this anime is simple like the story and
it's not action , and I know what you are saying the slow frames , right ? I think it'snot animation after all , it's between animation and cinema shots
and there are no more details in the characters
special from the away shots
but the characters' design overall was pretty well
and they didn't make anything weird in the closed shots
there are more people here who can see it without disgusting it ,
because it's taking a shot to their life, and there is nothing wrong with it till now . Again, i respect for your job , I know you are judging by your job
but there is nothing wrong with the animation if it's 2d or 3d if we can accept it , like that and the quality from the first episode till the last one didn't get down so it's perfectly fine
I want to take another shot , but it's difficult
see the details that you denied it because you focus on 2d animation
the upper train, how animated , and how the details in the elevator were perfectly acceptable
so don't underestimate it again , I respect you

idk, man, you seem to think it's an adaptation of 18 manga chapters, which is very incorrect. it's adapted from a light novel series with at least 5 volumes. many anime based on LNs only cover 4 volumes in 1 cour, some cover even less. And even if it was only covering 18 chapters of manga, there's precedent to support that being doable; Bloom Into You took 13 episodes to cover 24 chapters; The Flowers of Evil only covers 20 across the same number of episodes.

you also keep talking about the video editor's perspective, but are you considering the storyteller's perspective at all? not everything needs to be quick paced or have something always happening. sometimes you just need to set the mood and let the viewers sit with it, soaking it in. I personally find the pace and tone of this show a lot more pleasant than most other shows. is it chill? sure, i suppose that's one way to put it, but it honestly feels to me more like they're trying to build some atmosphere, make it feel a little more real.

The graphics of the animation is good, but the spacing and the animation movements sometimes (mostly) very slow, like you watching keyframes and nothing happens. Ep 4 starting 30 seconds of kids going away and him pushing his bike but nothing happening. It is not like monogatari series where every picture wants to add to the scene, it is like just they wants to slow down the anime to make it 20 minutes. These spaceings adds a little break to the scenes but in my opinion these breaks a little too long.
So animation okay, graphics nice, spaceing not.

The topic of this show isn't really my cup of tea, but man the music is so tasteful. I look forward to watching the episodes just for the background music. I wish there was an OST of that show.

Tbh, I'm loving this anime, and I believe that's pretty much due to de exquisite control of the director regarding ambient, pace and visual narrative. I knew this guy was good ever since he was assistant director for SasaMiya but god this is on a whole other level. Nonetheless, animation is indeed pretty lacking. It's overall disguised by some good artistic takes, creative direction and storyboarding and a pretty efficient art direction that give you interesting things to look at other than the off-model characters, and I appreciate that at least the characters move quite a lot, but movements are really raw overall and consistency is lacking everywhere.

I agree, but, ep 11 it's so horrible directed compared to the LN, they cut so many important things
