| It's time for the classic school trip arc. Love is in the air and poor Ayane is stuck with the dimwit Joe lol. Even still though, Chizu doesn't seem to have rejected nor accepted Ryuu's confession from last season. Jeez though, in less than minute and Ayane got herself a man. Guess I can retract my statement from a minute ago lol. He seems like a decent enough guy, just as long as she does nothing to hurt my poor Ayane, it's fine. Only took us three seasons but we got ourselves a bath scene with all the girls. Was worth the wait. That aside, so much happening at once like Ryuu getting confessed to and so. Highlight has to be MA DUDE PIN GOT HIMSELF A LOVE INTEREST! Took long enough. Damn though, now that these two are dating, we're speed running through all the cliche things couples do in romcoms like a date and the aquarium date. If what went down could be considered one. DAMN THOUGH, same episode these two got together and they already kissing.  It's only natural that next up on the kiss train would be our main couple. Guess this is the objective for the rest of the school trip. And ffs man, ofc the girl that confessed to Ryuu was the girls that were in love with Kazehaya. Do think Chizu went too hard on them but could care less. We got close to a kiss, but a head-to-head will do for now. Really love the fact that Chizu and Ryuu both hate sweet things, but when they're feeling down, they end up drinking them anyway lol. I love that irony. Speaking of these two kunckleheads, well the only kuncklehead is really only Chizu for not knowing by now that she's the one that Ryuu likes man. No fucking way that these two got together, kissed, "held hands", and then broke up in the same episode. Then we had to see her cry... FUCK. And for once, I respect Miura for actually being there for Ayane at her low. P.S. poor Pin got rejected... they're trying to make me cry with this episode :( |

| This episode suited the hour-long format. The longer runtime really added to the feeling of being on a school trip with your classmates and spending more time together than you're used to. There also weren't any obvious breaks in the plot that fit into 22 minute stories like in episode one. I thought that season 2 really suffered by putting Chizu and Ayane on the backburner. I'm glad that they're already getting more focus in S3, and Ayane looks like she'll be getting her own arc for the first time in the series(?) |
| It is definitely the start of a new season for everyone. Kazehaya and Sawako fully in a relationship, Chizuru and Ryu FINALLY making progress after that confession and Kento/Ayane ship developing! Fuck Mogi-cchi. All my homies hate Mogi-cchi. Least you could’ve done is pretend to be a decent human being but holy shit he didn’t even try to talk to or get to know Ayane. Idk how she even put up with that for more than a few hours. Even before the confession he barely even knew her 😭 all good though, that sets up the Kento and Ayane ship so it all worked out in the end. We were so close to our first Kazehaya and Sawako kiss.. hopefully soon |

| Episode and school trip arc. This is the peak of romance. While seeing Sawako and Shouta as the main couple and watching their development as boyfriend and girlfriend is beautiful, especially when they try to get closer, even attempting to kiss (which didn't happen, but I hope they have their first kiss this season), I enjoyed this episode more for the development of the other characters. It was about time we saw more of Chizuru and Ryuu. I swear I never would have imagined that the person to help develop a couple's romance would be Jo—I'm surprised! Seeing Ryuu confess to Chizuru, knowing she didn't feel the same, made me jump out of my seat. The good thing is that Chizuru is starting to question her true feelings for Ryuu. But the one who stole the show is Ayane. As the character who has been most concerned about helping her friends with their romantic dramas, we saw almost nothing of her except her abusive ex-boyfriend. Now, another idiot thinks he can use her (screw you, Mogi). The parallel between Sawako and Ayane's scenes after both failed to kiss the person they were with was cinematic. I used to ship Ayane and Pin, but her interactions with Kento make me want that relationship more, and it's more realistic. Regardless, Ayane is a goddess. |

| I feel so sad for Yano-chin. I can't believe Mogi just went out with her because he wanted an easy score because of her "reputation". Disgusting. I cried when Yano-chin cried. She really deserves someone good. I hope Kento is good. |

| I've been shipping Kento and Ayane this entire time. I didn't like Mogi from the start and the fact that kissed right off the bat made me hate him more. He didn't even compliment Ayane at first. Kento is such a sweetie though. The way he held her was so cute. Its almost like Kento knows there's something fishy with Mogi with all the questions about what they talk about and stuff. Chizu is so damn dense, it pisses me off. I'm so mad at Chizu for saying she doesn't have feelings for Ryu because she's lying to him and herself. Ahhh Sawako has matured so much, its actually unbelievable and crazy. They were gonna kiss before being able to say each other's given name?! |

| I find it fascinating how straightforward irrelevant side-characters confess. That goes for several other animes too. Like how can you expect somebody to accept your confession despite never interacted with them - japanese HS culture much? Anyhow screw that pathetic goof, our Ayane deserves better. I'm still uncertain about Kento from S2 but he makes a good interest for Ayane. I'm having so much fun watching Sawako progress with Kazehaya. It's rare to see adaptations after MCs actually confess so I'll make the most of this show |
| Sawako censorship lol. School trip to Okinawa is definitely a special vibe, especially when so much love is in the air. Even Pin was trying to get some. Mogi was obviously no good, but you can't really blame a boy asking out a pretty girl just because and to brag about it in front of his friends. He will grow up. Ayane accepted his out of blue confession even tho she wasn't feeling him either. If she wanted to give it a try with anyone just to not feel lonely she could've went with Kento in the first place. At least he listens and cares. He got a bubbly personality too. Well, whether things work out with him or not, she'll find her way. I'm much more into Chizuru x Ryu. Confession time. Ahh, it's such a tease. Be patient Ryu, Chizu isn't ready to take that step yet(She sure was ready to tell that girl off, tho xD), understandably so. A relationship with a close childhood friend has it's very own complications. Both went through so much together, they're like siblings and the thought of their friendship ending is something that needs to be digested. Great school trip episode. Fun and grounded, setting the bar high for other rom-coms. |

| Sawako and Kazehaya almost kissed. Ryuu finally confessed to Chizu. Ayane cried! And that last part is what I want to focus on. My heart literally broke when I saw that. Someone please strangle that bastard!! No....actually....let me do it!! 👿🤬 @IzanaSolos How can you post a picture of that!! The moment I saw him, I could feel flames coming out of my eyes! So many things happened in this episode that I'm still in disbelief. At this rate, I wonder when I'll get the courage to watch the next episode. After reading the spoilers, I'm really not sure. 😭 Even though I've been waiting for Ryuu's confession since a decade ago, in the end, the only scene I could think about was this:  |

Typical shoujo problems. Also gotta say I love Ayane but come on, girl. You put yourself in the "easy girl" role. Were you expecting only gentlemen to approach you? sigh* Still a fantastic episode tho. Loved the emotions. |

| ahhh shit i hoped Pin would be the one to pour out his wisdom at the rightful moment .It seems they are going the yellow hair X best girl route ,darnit. The Mogi guy was there just for plot convenience ,that's a given and Ayane took her chance to step outside of her zone and test the waters which turned out not so pleasurable experience.Can't blame anyone here .Everyone acting on their teenage indulgence.Hoping for more Ryu and sports ship coming episodes |
