I think we're reeling into what we might call about the end of Part 2. If we say that Part 1 ended with Black Chainsaw Man forms appearance I reckon we'll deal with something about the same again. This time probably with Black Chainsaw Man vs. Yoru's true form as well.

Barem wants *something* erased from existence, and I don't know what-- right now he is quite literally following in Makima's footsteps by making Denji's life hell again so he can make him take on his true form... but then how is he going to get him to eat a Devil? And what Devil does he want him to eat? How is Yoru going to play into all this?

Also, damn, that end. Nayuta's head on a plate. I'm sure she'll be fine since, like, immortal Control Devil and all that, but holy shit!! Denji is boutta lose his mind!!

Hoping we finally get to see Chainsaw vs. Flamethrower, and I'm also hoping that Barem is Fakesaw Man like the theories been saying... We'll see I guess, the story is very slowly being revealed to us.

Edit: just saw a tweet saying what if Barem has been making Denji eat Nayuta… turned her into sushi… oh my god if that’s true he is as sick as Makima. Wow!!!!

As soon as he started talking about Denji’s unhappiness contributing to his true Chainsaw Man form, and everyone started freaking out, I connected the dots. I didn’t want to believe it but man my jaw dropped when I got to the page that confirmed my suspicions. Fuck Barem, he needs the worst death after pulling this.

I hope it’s not nearing the end of part 2, I think the story needs to hit a lot more points before we get to the final chapters. Also man, the eating Nayuta theory sounds brutal as fuck. Poor Denji.

Holy shit I knew Barem did something terrible to Nayuta but that reveal was Devilmanesque. In the end Nayuta was just a plot device to further Denji down the despair path and I don't know how I feel about it. Right now she feels like a bit of a wasted character.

It gets better and better every week. I feel like it’s finally starting to hit the emotional climaxes that are being built up. People are being super critical, but I think they’re forgetting part 1 was good because of the buildup, and people aren’t letting the buildup happen before they get critical. I love the reveal of Nayuta’s head. And even Katana Devil, who’s seen A LOT of shit was disturbed. I also like Katana Devil’s part in the story too, I think bringing him back in the way Fujimoto did was creative, and works perfectly. We might even see a redemption arc, or not. I also live the theory, on that in this universe, Chainsaw’s could have had more uses than cutting down trees, but Pochita possibly ate one, which could explain Chainsaw Man’s power to make people forget something exists. Either way, I love what’s going on, and can’t wait to see what happens next.

That is if she’s dead. But I also feel like one of my favorite parts of Chainsaw Man is it really does feel like anyone can die at any time, no matter what their character is doing at that point. I don’t think Nayuta is dead. She’s also one of my favorite parts of part 2, so I hope not, but I’m gonna trust Fujimoto to see what he’s cooking

For me, it’s not necessarily just about how many chapters are left, but also how much story is left. I was just telling a work friend not long ago that I hope part 2 is a lot longer than part 1. Mot because I feel part 1 was too short, but because I feel like part 2 just needs a lot more time to develop its story, and dive deeper into the characters.
