Is Tinasha even ready for marriage? Unfortunately, this episode had monsters invade so that was not her own concern...

I feel like Tinasha sometimes doesn't know what to build into her own future. Despite her tactical and wise mind, she seems less knowledgable about relationships. Well, this episode seems to be bulding into the final few episodes and climax.

Nah not a fan at all of how disrespectful people, especially Norman, were being to Tinasha at the start of the ep. Idc if she is a witch she’s still Oscar’s betrothed and a guest in the palace. Ofc he changed his tune after she helped with the dragon assault later on, typical 😂

MASSIVE progress with Oscar and Tinasha this week, this episode was so damn cute and Tinasha can’t deny her feelings for Oscar anymore. It’s gone way beyond a contract. It gets really hard to follow the timeline in the series because some eps felt out of order in terms of Oscar and Tinasha relationship.. but I’ll take it.

“She means a lot to me, don’t you badmouth her” with that kiss omg😭 no way man that was one of the most realistic flirting scenes I seen in a min in anime. I think the best thing the anime at least has going for it is that Tinasha and Oscar interactions feel very mature. None of the usual overly flustered or nervous characters. They just flow so well together.

Overall story of this ep was kinda weak, felt like the poison situation was really just an opportunity to bring Oscar and Tinasha closer which I’m ok with because we got all those cute moments like Tinasha going all tsundere when everyone said she liked Oscar and the ending kiss!

Need them to be officially married at this point

I haven't read the source material, but it's obvious they are speed running the f outta this series. The last 2 or 3 episodes feel terribly paced.

This series is like they took a summary of the series, made notes from the summary, then animated some of those notes.

The source seems like a good premise, but the anime pacing seems like a poor execution.

Asking the guy you're in love with if you're in love with him is something I would do IRL and therefore I can't criticize Tinasha for it but I'm still lol

So she goes from being poisoned sleeping beauty being hugged by her prince in grief to... everything's fine now, moving on! Then she's suddenly fully in love with him in a scene that in no way feels earned by the show.

WTF is with the direction for this thing?

Today's episode was rushed too.
But I'm glad that Tinasha realised that she is in love.
Untill last episode,it was one sided love.
Now it’s time for full romance!!

That escalated quickly, went from nothing to full romance. In this marriage any% I wouldn't be surprised if they are married next episode.

The poison plot was very meah, really contrived.
Doesn't look like anything has any kind of setup, things just happen and new character appear out of nowhere to get in the way of the couple.

No big villains, the bad guys are just episodic: they appear out of nowhere, can't do much to vs Tinasha's magic (which feels like asspulls, her magic always has a convenient solution ready making it easy gg) and on to next bad guy in the next episode.

Wait, am I missing something here?
Why did those monsters appear?
How did Tinasha got cured by the poison?
This episode left a big question mark in my Head.

I can't remember the last time I watched a show that felt more rushed than this.
What a disappointment, they could of ended this season with episode 7.

Tinasha is a witch, she said that given time she could produce antibodies to the poison, and that she could slow its progress enough to get that time, even though it usually kills very fast.

And then her antibodies were used to cure Oscar. I don't get why it would be surprising that she'd recover as well, even if it took a little longer because she was deliberately letting it spread more to produce enough antibodies.

Also, both she and the other witch have healing magic.

Tinasha finally realising her feelings, it was amusing watching her reaction. "Is that what's going on?" "Who here thinks I'm in love with Oscar?" "I need to kill him." lol. Cute stuff otherwise too with Tinasha and important stuff too with both of them almost dying. Would have been a pain to wait a few weeks for this entire thing so for the first time kinda glad they rushed over stuff this episode ig. Anyway so I can take that ending scene as the ship finally sailing right?

The poisoning plot was so confusing who poisoned him, why, how the reach their, why a king alone charging the monsters, how Tinasha recovered from full body near death wounds just from a hug?

But the interaction between Oscar & Tinasha is the only reason to stick out at this point.
Tinasha's Tsundere behaviour goes way beyond normal "How/Why" "I need kill him" asking Oscar if she loves him. What!? But the end was nice.

Girl, you willingly put yourself at great risk to save Oscar to the point you may die and plead with your friend Lucrezia to help you and you question if you love him? Haha, she was in denial but glad that that's done with and they shared 2 kisses.

Now I hope that they investigate the culprit as that was a straight up assassination attempt.

Tinasha started to realise that she is in love with Oscar. She would not have saved another contract holder like that. If she risked her body’s health to poison herself and heal Oscar, then it means Oscar is a special person to her.

But, I don’t know if she is yet prepared to be the next queen. They deserve to marry and be happy together, but their love is increasing between them.

With the help of Lucrezia and other two followers, she succeeded to save Oscar and insert the poison from Areddyia, Leonora’s servant.

Someone needs a lot of bonks interrupting the kiss... 😤😤😤
It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines
and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it,
is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service.

I agree, but MAL is the wrong place to express positivity over anime. Everyone here is a highbrow critic who looks down on producers and directors as if they are vastly superior rather than just enjoying the entertainment that’s in front of them. I also have seen a lot of anime for a lot of years, and think this one is pretty good with a few minor flaws, but we’re a minority I guess!

Another very good episode from the series plagued with rotten direction!

Tinasha went from loneliness to Oscar in circa four centuries. Not an easy task for the witch to become a wife, let alone a queen, but her future husband -- the king -- supports her!

Another "this should've been the last episode" episode.
While Tinasha finally realizing he loves Oscar is quite sweet, I would say everything leading to this point was very much lacking.
I don't know how the director picked out the events for this adaptation, but it just feels that they skipped too much of the preceding key events in the story and now they are also trying speed up to adapt what's left from the light novel so that the season will end in a cliff hanger and make anime-onlies like me pick up the light novel itself to see what will happen next.

What a sensational episode, there was comical relief, there were tense moments, there were romantic moments, there were revelations, without a doubt it was the best episode of the anime so far. Seeing Oscar almost die and seeing that Tanisha went to her limit to save her lover, and then her saying that she loves Oscar and then that she must kill him was very funny and in the end, finally her accepting their feelings was a one of the most beautiful moments of this anime season, and finally a passionate kiss and not the ones we had before, which was the famous stolen kiss, this one was for real. Best episode to date.

I guess this almost certainly confirms there's no season 2. They are rushing to wrap up the story in a satisfactory way ASAP. Which I'm honestly grateful for, because I'd hate it to end on an unresolved cliffhanger. Hopefully they at least take their time in the last two episodes, and maybe that's why they are rushing now.

This show is probably the best of the season storywise
But has been hit with terrible pacing
All done with the show has somehow worked so far, hasn't lost its quality, despite so much being skipped

Let's just hope they nailed the ending, if they missed that, only a Remake can save this.
Shows quality should be top before anything else, with horrible pacing they still has manage that but this episode feels like they might not be able to continue with it for long. Hopefully they nailed the ending right.

Perfect example would be Snafu S3, despite the pace, they nailed the ending, and everyone just remembered the ending. nothing else matters at this point.

I understand nothing of this anime, it seemed slow in the beginning, but the last 3 episodes make no sense because how much they are rushing things. I haven't even read the manga, but I know they are rushing it because stuff happens without any plausible reason. people appear out of nowhere... it makes no sense at all .

this had the potential to be one of the best anime of this season, if it only got more episodes and properly paced.

the ending is still great though. 10/10

I hate that I like this story line so much alongside the characters. Including the side ones. But im just sad that the way it’s paced I usually dgaf and intact get even annoying at LN/Manga readers complaining rushed series and shit. However this is just mad, I haven’t read the LN and it just feels weird watching the show, I’m still enjoying it but it some things just feel out of place. I don’t mind if some scenes are skipped but things don’t add up to well in the time line at all, im enjoying but im not really understanding it all well. Like ??? Anyhow I do plan to read the LN later on so I hope it’s a major upgrade.

A fellow civil servant of Farsas, Norman, stands opposed to the idea of Oscar being all over Tinasha and not establishing her as a queen, even though they're bound by a contract. Her fellow servant of Pamyra also being worried of their relationship, and Tinasha seems content on how she and Oscar are now. But well, as much as the couple were about to have their moment, they get interrupted by monsters attacking Farsas, and Oscar in grave trouble after being poisoned with an ancient poison, alkakia.

Tinasha needing Lucrezia's help to create the antidote that would save her betrothed, it has never been done before, and she wouldn't mind sacrificing her body for him, except the erasing of memories as a promise. Indeed, she did that and more, which only infuriates Lucrezia all the more of why she goes the distance for Oscar, being so dense that it's love that compels her to do so, that she wouldn't admit that it's so, until she goes to see Oscar.

I'm amazed that it took Tinasha THIS long to realize that she's in love with Oscar, with the ending kiss pretty much a confirmation of their relationship.

Tinasha asking other characters if she loves Oscar. She turned into a tsundere. The anime seems to have devolved into just a romance. Two episodes now since Lanak was killed earlier than expected and they are not answering the question of why Oscar and his father were cursed to not have children which was the last loose thread that needed tying up. I don't know how they are going to do that in three episodes.

They are speedrunning this too much
She shouldn't have realized she loves him until after the 5th grandchild
...
I am happy they didn't actually show her in pain, had enough of that with the 13 year old event.

3 more episodes, my main questions are: what is up with the balls? what is up with the person who poisoned him? what is up with the person who was looking for the red ball?

4/5, I'm just emotionally attached even though they are doing really bad with this anime (holding my 6/10)

Complete garbage pacing.

One minute he's poisoned, next he's saved by her but has no memories. Instantly remembers her and finds her through the fake wall. She might die from taking his poison! Except she doesn't, and literally the next minute when the scene changes she's okay again. Why even bother with all this BS?
