Okay, this is getting really interesting. So, it seems like Adachi isn't the only one with this 'cherry magic' power now.

On his 30th birthday, the romance novelist Tsuge experienced the same magic as Adachi, enabling him to use magic. He began to hear the inner thoughts of Minato Wataya, the delivery courier, and found himself increasingly concerned about him. On the other hand, Adachi, who had caught a cold and was bedridden, couldn't get the image of Kurosawa and a woman who seemed to be his ex-girlfriend out of his mind. Amidst this, Kurosawa, worried about Adachi's health, visited Adachi's apartment to pay him a visit.

We saw Adachi feeling a bit jealous, and there was this classic moment when Kurosawa took care of him when he was sick. It's really nice to see another happy gay couple. It's great that Adachi has figured out his feelings, but it's kind of sad that their moment got interrupted. At least, they'll have plenty of opportunities to open up about their feelings during the sleepover. And guess what?

This time, it's different—Kurosawa is the one staying over at Adachi's place. Can't help but wonder what kind of crazy stuff will happen during this sleepover.

Overall, this series is fairly close to the manga. What I can’t understand is why Adachi and Kurosawa both only have a single suit and a single tie. At least Kurosawa looks decent. Adachi looks awful in his. Someone on production really likes the color green as there’s a lot of it this episode.

Udon is secretly a human with these terrifying meows, and his owner Tsuge turned 30 getting mind reading powers of his own. He and Adachi didn't touch each other, and this infurated me more than it should. Either way, Kurosawa's sister has terrible timing, but good people skills. I refuse to believe she didn't do all that on purpose.

I was wondering what the delivery guy's role was gonna be lol. It's great seeing Adachi exploring his feelings and Kurosawa's fantasies were very cute and funny. Also, I'm absolutely loving the ED song!

It's spreading. Also: Second couple unlocked!

The delivery guy and writer scenes were pretty funny. The rest with the main cast was not quite as good as the previous episodes.

i knew she was related to kurosawa, but of course adachi will jump to other conclusions lol and finally, tsuge got the same magic powers adachi got when he turned 30 lol but it seems like it's the other way around for him with his delivery boy lol

Can Adachi PLS already realize that he himself is gay/bi? It's frustrating how he seems to still be struggling with the idea that, oh my, he could have a crush on a guy. Makes all the interaction all the more awkward.

If you haven't watched "Fantastic Children", don't talk about "best anime". Thank you.

Thought the episode was only gonna focus on the second couple, but I guess not. I'm sure we'll see more of them though.

But this episode was a little frustrating. Adachi knows by now that Kurosawa is in love with him, so why is be getting all upset thinking Kurosawa is getting back with his ex? At least it finally made him realize he might have feelings for Kurosawa too...baby steps. I'm just hopinhg They'll be in a relationship before the season ends. Will be annoyed if Adachi doesn't confess his true feelings until the last episode.

For the typical person of Tsuge Makoto, along with his pet cat Udon, he always receives his parcel from the same deliveryman...and is acting like Adachi now with his 30-year-old virgin Cherry Magic power?

On the cusp of completing a new volume of his romantic novel, Tsuge can also hear his thoughts, which is quite the killer move. And this prompts him to meet Adachi to talk about his part of the social etiquette party they had the other day. Still though, since the day where he acquired his Cherry Magic power, his life with Kurosawa has been quite the excitement, and this is happening the same now to Tsuge as well. But witnessing a lady go after Kurosawa, Adachi seems stunned and goes home abruptly, thinking that he has his stint of exes. The day after, Adachi suffers from a cold from last night's rain, thinking about Kurosawa. Even with his own typical romance that ended before it began, he always got being friendzoned and is too shallow to ever think about love.

Kurosawa finding Adachi right at his home and cooking porridge for him, he's just too jealous of the former being that attractive and kind also. And since he lives alone, he has no one to take care of him, but Kurosawa reassures that there will be someone for him...which he's secretly thinking of Adachi as well. And just when he has got his emotions wrapped up together, Adachi feels the same way about Kurosawa...and the same lady comes to interrupt him, his elder sister, who's kind of a bro-con. Her forcing her own brother to stay with Adachi for one night...it feels like everything was coincidentally placed for his benefit.

The reverse has happened, what shenanigans will happen this time?

Still can't get used to the character design of Adachi's friend. His eyes are weird and I don't remember him being this cringe the first time I read the manga.
Still, Its fine as a adaptation, I am LOVING the voice acting though for the main couple, spot on!

Can't freakin wait till next episode, I'm dying to see them share space again. I doubt a simpleton like Adachi has any arrangements to accomodate another person in that apartment, but anyway love Kurosawa's sister for this new 'set-up'. Also Tsuge has become a wizard too, just great, and that delivery boy, I wonder if he's a minor?? I just hope not

- what a funny episode, even as someone who dislikes BL, i actually like this show, who would have thought lol
after picking 35+ seasonals, i expected this to be one of the 1st drops... but i'm happy to be proven wrong (maybe?)

- didn't expect the other guy to also get that power, i wonder if everyone can get it after 30yo, girls too?
- guess he somehow fell in love with the delivery guy, that was kinda random but sure, at least the cat has more company
- who dafuq goes to sleep with wet clothes from the rain? what the actual f? ...
- Kurosawa's sister pushing him to live with Adachi, interesting, i guess she wants to have space, but it's still kinda of a bad thing to do lol
- well now the 2 main charas will live together, that's a big step forward huh

Waaait how old is Kurosawa and is he still a virgin too? I wasn't expecting Tsuge to be gay as well, he fell in love with the delivery driver because he liked his cat lol why did Tsuge try to touch Adachi to confirm the power? Poor Adachi experienced heartbreak due to a misunderstanding but at least it was resolved quickly! Daaaamn, Adachi was about to confess but then Kurosawa's sister pulled up. Ugh it was going to be a glorious moment too. Kurosawa's fantasies flashed before his eyes when he realized his sister was setting them up. This episode wasn't long enough!! I need more!

Finally the second couple was introduced, and that trick of Kurosawa's sister to make Adachi and him sleep together using Adachi's sickness as an excuse was really smooth. Udon is a really cute cat as well

So if Tsuge and Adachi touch does that mean they can talk to eachother telepathically? Or would it not work from like cancelling eachother out? I wonder.

Kurosawa's sister didnt know how to read the moment well. She could have waited.

I wouldnt care if he was but i really dont think so. He is likely in his 20s at earliest. I dont think package delivery is something a high schooler would be doing. Most dont even have a license I think.

Kurosawa's big sis is the refreshing character this show desperatly needs. I hope she'll appear a lot from now on.

The rest of the episode was a bit boring and predictable. It's not bad, but I got nothing to praise either. Does the basics of a romance and nothing more.

@traed LOLLL imagine Tsuge and Adachi just holding hands instead of talking verbally, but my first thought was also that these mind readers can't mind read other mind readers, cancelling out basically.

Must be a college student then, thank god. A 30 YO and a 15-ish YO just never would sit right with me, it's literally half their age. As long as romance leads are both like 20+ adults (or both below 20 lol), I wouldn't mind the age gap either.

God, I hate the interruption trope so much. Please anime, find more compelling ways to pad things out at least.

Something else that bothered me in an earlier episode (the first?) was that Adachi didn't even attempt to prove that he had the power to Tsuge, which would've been easy to do.

"Here, I'll show you. I'll place my hand on you. You can think of anything and I'll be able to recite that back to you."

Easy. But I guess they wanted to make Tsuge discovering he has the power too more dramatic.

Also, does anyone find the eyes kinda weird? They're so long they wrap around to the sides of their faces and it throws me off lol

Yeah this is how I'm feeling about the show as a whole. There are more deserving bl out there imo but I'm just happy to be getting some more of this genre.

@Allycattt the uk was my second guess but ig it could be bad in other countries too... jokes aside I can list the reasons but some may be valid for my dumbass country only: 1) you gotta know that it's just a flu and nothing more serious (once as a teen I thought I had a flu but actually i developed pneumonia) 2) some medicine may require prescription 3) you need an official paper to prove you were legit sick if you are in school, college or employed. Also idk about other countries but you can also request your local hospital a free home visit by a doctor. yk i actually never understood how can a flu be just "slept out", maybe in my country we've been collectively placebo'd somehow into experiencing a flu much graver than it's supposed to be experienced...

@Allycattt From what I have heard is that going to the hospital for check ups and colds is a common practice in japan. I'm not entirely sure why, but I it could be getting better medication prescriptions as off-the-shelf medication in japan is quite weak and frankly "useless".

But yeah, in my country (not the US) sleeping it out has always been the way. If it's bad, a visit to the GP is the next step. There they can give prescriptions to antibiotics or other medication. The hospital is reserved for serious possibly life endangering illnesses and injuries.

@Sorvarin Thanks for taking the time to explain C: in my country we generally dont need an official paper for school/work if we're just sick for a few days so i guess maybe thats why i didnt know about it. Also ive noticed my family uses a lot less flu medicine than others lol. Sleeping and drinking copious amounts of tea is our only way ^_^
