I honestly thought it would be AT LEAST 2 hours
Instead they gave us 1 movie and a half lol
I think this kinda kills the idea of watching the 3 movies together (that was supposed to be the main point) but let's wait to see how this ends..

I'm scared because that's like less than half the original runtime of the trilogy but maybe since it's a reboot they'll do a more "faithful adaptation"? There was nothing wrong with the creative adaptation in fact it was better than the LN in some ways but that's the only thing that comes to mind when it comes to a reboot

This is announced as a compilation movie. Haven't checked the trailer as I don't watch those things, but so far both MAL description and post says it's a recap.

In my opinion it would not make sense for it to be a reboot, if it is going to come out in January 2024, they should already have the "reboot" scenes but they only showed things from the old movies

Theres a diferençe between recap and reboot... Recap/compilation is just a mix of everything that removes scenes, reboot is using the same material and trying to do something new with it, not removing so much scenes

@Perfectrockstar Fr, i don't care if they ruin kizu (cuz you still can watch trilogy instead of reboot) but if this reboot gives them money and opportunity to adapt off season its fine.
