Fair enough dude, tbh I'm more of a binge kind of guy, especially with those kinds of series. Also I rarely, if ever, watch dubs. The only ones I firmly stand behind are Cowboy Bebop and Baccano, as the dub casts were not only superb and made those shows what they are, but also fit the setting much better. The fact that Kenzou Tenma is Japanese means I have to watch Monster subbed, no matter what. Otherwise it just won't feel right to me. =P
And PC my dude. I haven't touched a console since I was 11 or 12 when I built my first computer haha
Edit: btw I see you added Aria the Origination to your PTW. You're probably the 5th person that I noticed to do that after talking with me or seeing my list, lol. Just a heads up, if you watch Origination first you'll be starting on episode 41 of the series. xD
I have all of Monster downloaded and ready to go; I just want to be ready to commit myself to a 74 episode series, because I know I'm gonna want to binge it, lol. I'm really looking forward to it though, cause I already know I'll love it haha
In regards to Madoka, I'm sure Monster has a better overall narrative- especially with nearly 6 times the number of episodes; it'd be sad if it didn't, lol. Madoka, for me, is a masterpiece in terms of symbolic weight. From allusions to man's first sin to a plethora of Biblical and Buddhist allegories, the literal retelling of Hans Christian Andersen's The Little Mermaid through Sayaka Miki's downfall, the overarching themes of balance portrayed through the blurred lines of morality in every decision of the characters, and Homura's infinite struggle against time to create a better future, I just find what the creators achieved in twelve episodes to be absolutely remarkable. :) It's not perfect, but I do consider it to be one of the greatest works I've experienced (though it took watching it three times to get to how I feel about it now).
after the 3 movies watch "Zoku Owarimonogatari".
