I forget what happened ep 12 season 1 but yea it’s amazing although idk if best ep of all fits because there’s a ton of other shows that are amazing with better eps. Ofc I still loved Tokyo ghoul just saying don’t get to narrow minded

i would say the same, but there's a scene in which kaneki eats himself, which is censored horrible in the anime adaptation and i would recommend you to read the manga vol 7 (i think) in that case so you can compare

I've read the first 100 or so chapters of the manga. it's one of the few manga I dropped since it's such a slog

Episode 12 was good but I don't it was one of the best anime eps ever because there are just far better options for example like aot, bleach, code geass, so yeah i don't agree with you

It was good but could’ve been better. Kaneki’s breakdown after his exchange with rize was very emotional and the torture scenes were there ofc it’s censored we can’t expect sth graphic. But I have an issue with the hair suddenly turning white and we missed the “I am a ghoul” scene ik it‘s gruesome but they could’ve done sth

You can actually enjoy the first 2 seasons of Tokyo ghoul a lot of you don’t compare it to the manga. If you do compare it to the anime then only season 1 is decent. I mean season 2 is just a entirely different story.

The third season is trash though regardless.

I highly recommend you pick up the manga. It does everything better. The art is incredible and the story actually makes sense.

actually it seemed a less than mediocre series to me, first season particularly didn't send me nothing much, episode 12 was slightly better but it still didn't think make interested, it's always taste-concerned but I think you can see series that are much more deep (an example, one of the best endings I can't forget is Zetsuen no Tempest ending, the series didn't make me love it but the ending is one of the best ones you will ever see)

I loved Soul Eater, Full Metal Alchemist(brotherhood) was fine in anime too, but Deadman Wonderland oh that's so good, I hope they'll do something about this series so much
