@wangsimian Even though it hasn't been stated yet, I believe a photo need to have a clear view of your face or some sorts in order to activate the ability.

@wangsimian When I said a clear view, it means a picture that covers the whole face. Hence, it'd be very hard to take a photo like that without being noticed.

Plot holes aren’t the biggest issue in this show … the biggest issue is that the main villains are not at all compelling. Bruh, doing all this crap just to get your “cheating” wife out of your life is stupid. The maniacal laughter is also weird for a villain with this kind of motive.
On top of that, no chance you can hide from the Chinese government. You gonna get caught quick.

I think you underestimate how effective private investigators are. They can follow someone for a week and get very clear photos without that person knowing and considering the people Qian Jin trusts I don't think he would be above hiring a PI.

You make a good point but when they had li Tianxi there plan was just to get the phone. I can't actually remember when the point Qian Jin finds out about the timetravel but isn't it implied Li Tianchen only starts considering changing the past when he picks up the photo when Tianxi is running away. He makes the offhanded comment when he was possessing Qiao ling that he wants to control his ability but it doesn't seem to be his plan at the time

Their powers have limitations... Its shown 2 souls with powers cannot be in one body. It would cause the same backlash as it did with Cheng when he was in the past...
Coordinating to use the powers is pretty different however. In addition to this they have no photos... so I am not even sure what you are on about

That's a personal preference not a legitimate criticism. Obviously you are young enough to not experience real hardship. Jealous partners can get like this, and some people have a few screws loose that are hard to see. People have murdered their spouses and others for less. I'm not suprised he lost his mind after realizing he killed his unborn child, somewhere deep down knowing she probably wasn't cheating, but he became more crazy by denying reality.
Obv you need to be spoon-fed the themes like a simple shonen junkie.
the crazy laugh, was realizing 2 people had found each other in a similar state of longing. Qian Jin had lost his kid, while Tianchan had lost his parental figure. They became twisted surrogates in each other's lives. Never truly caring for each other or seeing the other as family.
Also, the villains were compelling about how people can become pushed to their limits.

Still though, kind of a weak motive. The kid is fine. I understand his motive. The man, on the other hand, is kind of pathetic. I don’t have the patience to listen to his story about trust issues. I don’t think most people would disagree with me either. It just isn’t a “hardship” to be afforded any understanding given how he acted on it.

The show probably crossed the line and got too personal with a character their audience wouldn’t at all empathize or sympathize with, or find interesting. To be frank, the villain would have been better off if he was motivated by greed so that they wouldn’t warrant much focus. Just have the kid be the unfortunate victim that is abused by a greedy mastermind.

And the maniacal laughter is still unnatural with that circumstance. It’s overused.

he didn't know how his powers worked till then so fighting was inevitable i guess cause the whole reason he agreed to fall in cxs plan was that he was interested in his abilities. plus he was more angry on him for betrayal.

When he first possessed Qiao Ling, he goal wasn't to take Xiao Shi's power. At that time he didn't even understand how his powers work. His goal was to payback Xiao Shi for breaking the rules of the game. He only learned about Xiao Shi's power after he possessed Qiao Ling by getting access to her memories.

After taking the photo, send it to Tian Chen. He was possessed right before they went into going into Lu Guan's hospital room. It would have been tough for him to secretly take a pic of Xiao Shi when everyone was in the room as it would be suspicious of him to take a photo when everyone is talking about the murderer. Also they would have heard the phone go off when a photo is taken. Lastly, if he sends the photo to Tian Chen's (or to one of the thug's phones), then it gives the police a way to track Tian Chen / the thugs.

While he would be able to access Chen Bin's memory to use his camera, it would have also made it harder to steal Liu Min's phone by swapping it.

5. Chen Bin doesn't need to die, and Tian Xi won't run away. The whole story ends. Hooray! Lol

But Chen Bin needs to die. If he doesn't die, then it is obvious he was possessed. But if he killed himself, no one knows whether or not he was possessed or if was a corrupt cop that actually committed suicide which makes it harder for the police to pin it on the murderer.

A country of 1.4 billion people vs how many police officers. Sure there are lots of cameras but that is also a lot of data you need to sift through. The Chinese government isn't omniscient.

Also the motive for the villain isn't the best. But it is very Shakespearean which is why the wife was in a production of Romeo and Juliet. Also people do commit murder over cheating partners.

So ya, the motivation of the villain wasn't the best but I appreciate the writers tying things back into a specific theme.

To each their own on the villain then I suppose. I kind of had high standards given that I liked what the show was doing before it introduced this more central plot element of an antagonist to deal with.
