Yeah shit was amazing
I got tired of waiting for Season 2 after absolutely loving Season 1 so i just decided to read it but i wasnt prepared for how much shit will escalate haha
I hope it someday will get a full adaptation that lives up to the source material so more people can witness this genius story
It's all that and more, simply all of Taiyo Matsumoto's best ideas in one work. It's hard for me to put into words what No. 5 is, but without a doubt I would say that it is a manga that with strong realism tries to be optimistic about our future, always accompanied by a beautiful vision of the world.
The story heavily touches on themes of nondualism and monism, two concepts very prominent in Hinduism philosophy.
It's great how full of details it is and it's really easy to misinterpret or overlook anything, that's why re-reading gives it even more value (people find new details even until now) like Umineko
