A college guy, ENTP (mbti is a controversial topic... Inaccurate if u use stereotypes and letter Dichotomies but accurate if u use cognitive theory and its just a tool to improve) who dwells into ani/manga for escapism, inspiration, positivity and sometimes enlightenment even. I also take both mediums as a source of learning not to mention it goes without saying that they both have impacted and changed my life in a lot of ways...
I am very selective in what I read or watch since i cant really waste my time on everything frankly(Time is of the essence after all). In other words I don't follow everything for the sake of it or if its popular...
Pandora hearts is my favourite series of all time(Just perfect to say the least) followed by Magus of the library, Assassination Classroom, Umineko, Blue Flag, Relife and the garden of sinners(these 6 are interchangeable)not to mention the list goes on...(cant rank after that honestly)

Just because you don't see a character's hobbies directly doesn't mean it has terrible characterization lol. Do you need everything spoonfed to you?

We have close taste, so here's my suggest:(Yes, I made a rhyme XD) Read the Witch and the Beast, you won't regret. The main girl's a little bit annoying but she got devolopment and the story is great.

AOT does not focus on showing you all the hobbies of the cast, because it gets down to focusing on the plot. However, you can still easily extrapolate from her childhood what she would do like embroidery with her mom. We also see her wearing a boxing outfit in the 2nd opening, hinting at some of her other hobbies.

I see, thanks for the response! Yea I can see why, I also remember I really enjoyed the first few episodes of Horimiya but the show definitely went downhill in the second half. Hori's treatment of Miyamura is quite...uncomfortable and it sucks that it's often played off for laughs.
