Aww, Cecila got to spend another day with Lawrence.

However, this episode was much more than their outdoor fun. We got to know more about Gieselbert as well but honestly, I think the episode captured more of Cecila's personality.

I guess the weirdness of those two goes down in the family ... One might say ... But hey, the bro seems nice enough. AND OF COURSE THE PARENTS ARE ON A BUSINESS TRIP SO NO ONE IS AT HOME.

Anyway, that was a nice continuation of a trip to the city, a nice day just for the two of them ... at least for a while, till Lawrence's devil, demon king, fire dragon lord eye awakened.

Also, we finally got more of the Frederica character, seeing as who voices her, i would like to somehow see more of her ... and seeing who she likes ...

5:30 What was he about to say?
For some reason I expected the brother to be one of those people that worshiped the saint as if she's not human. He seems cool.
Oh damn Frederica was in love with him...
The scene after credits is a bit longer this time.
So bittersweet. Good episode.

Lol Hazelita's bro being blasted for taking the saint's hands. Hearing Hazelita's memories of the saint really made me hate the one's that brought her to the city even more. And especially so given that they're the one's that worked her to death. It was nice that they got to visit the saints grave. Looks like Gil really cared deeply for the saint. Which made her death even more tragic in my eyes.

OH? Is this the first time we hear Lawren say Cecilia’s name instead of Lady Saint? Cecilia melting in Lawren’s arms is the cutest thing I’ve seen this week.
I really can’t get enough of these two and their chemistry, they are adorable. Same goes for Hazelita and Abel, love their dynamic and playfulness.

Now we’ve been introduced to Hazelita’s older brother, Giselbert. Mm yes, the classic business trip where the parents are gone. Putting that aside, this man has been living good because holy this mansion is huge and with all those servants. Aww, an outing with Cecilia and Lawren. Lawren is a cute nickname honestly. I thought the blue necklace would’ve fit Cecilia better to compliment her green hair and positive energy but the gold one is also nice. HAMBURGERS… Eric and Cecilia getting excited with their first hamburger just adds to the fun. Also, the scenery looks so lovely and I really like how it adds to the cuteness.

It’s really sad to see more into Frederica’s backstory and her relationship with the siblings. Just makes things more sad considering how she was seen before her death. Frederia’s Bequest or Legacy will hopefully allow for the two to be able to continue and move past this tragedy.

Half cuteness, half sadness. This episode brought and fleshed out not only our characters but also Frederica. The post credits scene added to the pain :(
Have a delightful Wednesday :D

Man this episode was heartbreaking and beautiful 💔

I didn’t expect this trip to be such an emotional roller coaster, nor did I expect Gil to be such a tragic character. No wonder he was so adamant about Lawrence protecting Cecilia. He knows what it’s like to lose a lady saint that you love. One of the tropes that breaks me the most is when two people who are clearly in love with each other never get to confess because of one dying. Just breaks me every time that they’ll never get to hear the other say “I love you” or be together

When we heard Frederica’s story back in the beginning of the show it was sad, but now it’s gut wrenching because we have the full story. Got even more emotional when we found out she’s been protecting Gil and Hazelita with her divine protection from beyond the grave. That’s real love. Even in her dying moments she was thinking of them.

Hopefully this will push Lawrence to make some progress with Cecilia, life is too short! Their “date” in town today was really cute, I like the necklace he picked out for her and he finally called her by her name, so there’s hope yet!

The last part was very emotional, Cecilia crying was my last thing that i wanted to see and i felt that. I wished it was longer, felt like a second. Even with the end credits, i need more.
Man.. Frederica left my man Gil alone..

I'm still proud that Lawrence finally said Cecilia's name out loud for the first time. Her heavy blushing reaction to that was so cute! X3

This episode was a proper introduction to Hazelita's older brother, Giselbert. Aside from Eric's funny observation of calling out Gil for having a sister complex, he did prove to be nice and respectful towards everyone visiting the city and offered them the rooms of the mansion that he and Hazelita live in for a while.

This episode did have plenty of sweet and wholesome moments, with Lawrence and Cecilia going to an accessory shop being one main highlight, but the main focus of the episode was knowing more about Hazelita and Gil's relationship with the late Lady Saint Frederica. Hearing more of their backstory about how a wealthy family brought Frederica to the city and played a part in convincing everyone of seeing her as someone that wasn't human which led to her tragic death was downright sad. =(

Still, it was nice that Gil's family now own the garden that they hung out in the past, as that's where Frederica was buried. It's also really sweet to know that even though she's not alive anymore, her divine protection continues to protect both Hazelita and Gil even in the present day. The post-credit scene contributed to the bittersweet feeling of seeing Gil and Frederica together, chatting away happily.

Overall, this episode was really good, especially in terms of character development for Lawrence with Cecilia, but knowing a lot more about Hazelita and Gil's past involving Frederica.

Getting more of Frederica's backstory was nice but heartbreaking, and she really cared for Gil and his sister. I'm glad that Cecilia was able to visit her graveyard and relay to Gil that Frederica has given him and his sister divine protection.

Regarding Cecilia, her getting a necklace and trying out a hamburger was cute and helped offset Frederica's tragic story.

another nice episode with cecelia and lawrence taking a look around by themselves. the lady at the shop playing cupid a bit, letting lawrence put the necklace around cecelia haha, that was cute. hazelita and her bro are a fun duo, was interesting to hear more about the previous saint. nice but sad episode at the same time.

A bit more of a serious episode this time with a lot of focus on Frederica, the Lady Saint who has been dead since before the show started, I thought we had heard all there was to be heard about her but boy was I wrong, turns out there was a little love story between her and Giselbert behind the scenes and it was very cute, especially with the addition of that after credits scene, if it wasn’t for the sad reality I could see the two of them being a nice side couple but it can’t be like that sadly.

There was some fun to be had tho, I especially loved when Lawrence and Cecilia went shopping together and he got her that necklace and even did the honors of putting it on her, that was damn sweet. I also enjoyed the bit before it got serous when Cecilia and Eric were munching on burgers lol, I never tire of cute anime girls having a delicious hamburger.

That was really sad, Frederica's backstory with Gieselbert. These two had a bittersweet love. This episode healed and broke my heart at the same time for today.

I could listen to Cecilia saying "Lawren" all day long!

It seems Giselbert isn't some sinister bastard, just a brooding siscon.

I wonder if Hazelita knew Giselbert had a relationship with Frederica. That makes it even sadder in one way her dying and more bittersweet in another and sad in another new way.

Probably the first episode I kind of liked, I feel like theres something here in this series but unfortunately its all completely lost under how little chemistry Cecilia and Larwen have.

Hazelita's brother Giselbert makes his appearance, though that melted Cecilia's heart...because of Lawrence calling her name.

Sure, Giselbert may have a siscon complex on Hazelita, and Cecilia has a good date of a time with Lawrence...and the others, mainly babysitting the tutoring Eric. Of course, nothing scaves off Hazelita's view that Lawrence indeed got Cecilia a necklace, and she feels proud of his small move. But soon, his protection begins to wane because of the former Lady Saint Frederica's divine protection, which Hazelita was planning to tell them which Abel interjected.

It's clear that both the Adalbert siblings treated her like family while the rest treated her like a dispensable tool, which this dark story is shrouded from the townsfolk who has not any idea of what went on with the predecessor Lady Saint. Worse, Cecilia wants to head to the garden where Frederica's body and grave stood still, and Giselbert was heading there also with a bouquet of flowers to commemorate her life, after the extensive research and repeated attempts that he made so that he can save her already tyrannical life bestowed to death incoming.

It's just sad that Frederica and Giselbert's romance started and ended where the former stood fast to her beliefs, leading to her tragic death.
The post-credit scenes would've been nice if Frederica had been alive now.

Aw man, what a bittersweet tale :'<
When I first came into this series and watched a few episodes I wasn't really expecting this sort of sad background but I think it's a nice addition to the usual fluffiness from this show

Woah Hazelita brother is not what i think at first, he's a decent one and loved his little sister that much even after the tragic past. Not because he's a siscon obviously, but more from a poor saint of compassion bequest.

I like how even though the tone is pretty much gloom all over, but still manage the feel of wholesomeness to the max; by how they hold the mandatory date-in-town scene from our main pair, and then later changed into our past of couple of the same saint one but with the different fate route in the end.

Wish you rest in piece, Frederica...

The romance between Frederica and Gil is adorable at the end..
Sadly, that love never came to fruition.. i wish Gil could see her blessing like Cecilia does.. Maybe who knows, can put his heart at ease..

i had a feeling frederica had a thing for hazelita's older bro. i thought they ended up together and became more than just friends, guess neither one acted on their feelings for each other. still, it was bittersweet & yet touching that she blessed both siblings with a powerful protection.
