| Glad to see Mina working hard and also, we know more about why she wants the job so bad. Wataru seems like an understanding person so everything came out naturally. Mina is an underrated character imo, easily one of the more expressive in this latest episode and relatable too. |

| Well Ichinose is gaining confidence and is able to run the store but it still seems like she needs some more confidence to talk to her brother and his girlfriend. It's nice that she found something she wants to do tho. As for the ending it seems something might happen but i guess we will have to wait and see. |
| Glad this issue got resolved, Sajou did a really good job out there explaining Mina must detach from her big brother. She also has to realise her brother has his own life and her becoming more independent is good to see. |

| Mina appears to be settling into the job quite smoothly. It's a pleasant sight to witness her developing a somewhat harmonious relationship with Sasaki too. It might be healthy for Mina to gain a touch of independence; she does seem rather closely tied to her brother, especially considering her age. It's evident that Sasaki has strong feelings for Aika. Will he take action or remain passive? As for Sajo and Aika, will we witness any further developments? Progress doesn't appear to be materializing significantly for anyone at the moment. |

| “We can snuggle up, get cozy and read together again” lmao no wonder Ichinose social skills so fucked up if she doing that with her brother every day. She needs to be her own person and break this unhealthy attachment she has to her brother. Sajo as usual comes in clutch with a mediation today and got both Mina and her brother to understand each other’s viewpoints better. He needs to live his life, with his girlfriend and Mina needs to continue developing her own social and emotional skills. Idk why the girlfriend was there, tho. This was a family matter lol. But I digress. Part time status is finally over for Mina and she’s a full fledged bookstore employee which should be great for her development. Becoming friends with Sasaki and bonding over their shared love of reading is also good. She needs to be friends with someone in her age group. Potential love triangle brewing with Aika, Takaki and Wataru now as well. This should be interesting. Wonder who will make the first move. |

| And so the brocon bookstore arc has ended....fairly harmoniously. Once again I must point out how awful and awkward either the dialogue itself or just the subs are for this show. Even when I'm agreeing with the points our MC is making during the family meeting I'm just baffled at the way he's making them. NO ONE TALKS LIKE THAT!!!!! XD Is it a Japanese thing? If so, why are most other anime NOT like this? I gotta think it's the source author being absolutely shit at writing dialogue. But I dunno, I guess it could be a cultural thing. Bonus points for giving the chubby guy a girlfriend tho. That's never a bad thing lol. |
| Unfortunately I have to lower my vote for now.. it became slice of life with boring last two episodes.. lowering from 9 to 8 for now, but I hope the last ones will be good again. |

| In his introduction, Wataru said that the bear senpai looked like one of those that are glad to be around and focused on helping everyone, but holy shit the dude can't take a clue. If he really understood what he was proposing (go back to cuddling, spending time together, etc) why did he invite his gf to a private conversation while trying to fix things with his sister? Ichinose already has a better arc and growth than the rest of previous characters, and I'd say she has been the first step into a proper growth for Wataru along with Sasaki (which got a bit of a step back after he learning about her age). Another episode with little Aika, another episode in the top of this anime (as low as it is as a bar). That bookstore arc wasn't bad by any means but I would've loved to see some more interaction between the mc and Aika, especially in this last episode. In ep8 we eventually got their video chat at the end at least where as of my understanding right before Wataru ended the call Aika was about to turn on her video and appeared sad when he hung up on her which was kind of a cute reaction. Hope we get more cute interactions like this between those two in the following episodes. |

Actually you can use a pinch of salt in coffee as a substitute for sugar and you dont taste it with just a few grains but cuts the bitterness a bit. Go ahead and try it. They wanted to speak to her as a couple to show it is a decision both agreed om so she understands she isnt competing with this this gf girl because she is trying to be considerate for Mina like her brother is. | Ichinose as the brocon, can't interact much with her older brother who has a girlfriend now, and the job is a way to escape from her hellhole. Though Wataru as helped her overcome the void, she still cannot deal with customers, and Wataru has still to deal with customers, like Sasaki. That said, having Sasaki be Ichinose's conversational and practice customer partner, Wataru hopes that it would help her overcome her trauma. The thing is, Wataru's job will not last forever, and his relationship with Ichinose will go back to the same normal. once summer break ends. If Mina can join the other girls in class, it would be nice. The new school terms restarts, though his school council president big brother managed to track his sister down, working at the same bookstore. Heading to a nearby convenience store to settle things amicably, both older brother and young sister have not been on speaking terms, and once the relationship part comes out, it gets fiery. Though having Yuri there as well, the conversation becomes wilder to Wataru's disbelief of mere coincidence. However, both Ichinose and Yuri commandeering the conversation, they don't give her space to think and say her thoughts, and more so on the brocon-siscon side of things that Wataru managed to make things more understandable. That said, for what reason did Ichinose decide to take the bookstore part-time job, it's also part of her decision making as well. It feels like Sasaki is leaning more towards Natsukawa,,,? And also, congrats Ichinose on the graduation of your social anxiety. |
