I am just a random intellectual cultured weeb who loves anime. The reason why I write reviews about anime is that whenever I watch an anime that is really good, average, or bad I believe that I have to make or leave my mark on this anime. It was a way to either show my appreciation for that particular anime or just to rate an anime for other people. Anime is very precious to me and it's something that I had the wonderful experience of watching ever since grade school. The first anime I got into was your generic dragon ball. Despite it being almost everyone favorite anime; I still love it to death and that is not just out of nostalgia, but also from the emotion I felt with each character and fight. Ever since then I broaden my view of genre of anime from action all the way to drama. Through all of my degeneracy of staring at my computer for hours I realized what I believe is anime. A anime (if done right) can be a beautiful way to express emotion. The way that anime can be portrayed can be viewed as overdramatic or exaggeration. That in it self is true to a degree, but if you ever watched a shounen that you stuck with since childhood, or watched a good drama anime; the emotion resonates with you. The way they can weave emotion out with beautiful animation is what appeals to me about anime. That is why I can't stop watching it.
