| Wait so the new episodes that flesh out the character relationships and adapt cut scenes from the manga are bad but also the anime was rushed and should have been longer? Which is it my guy? Like I'll fully admit to being incredibly biased, as someone who read and loves the manga it makes me giddy to see all these scenes finally getting animated like they deserved to be in the first place. I think if this season were a bunch of new anime-original scenes trying to fit inside the story I'd also be a bit more critical but like c'mon man, you're complaining about season 1 feeling rushed *and* complaining about filler in the same post, which side are you on? |
| I believe what you meant to say is that they should have adapted it properly to begin with, but since that's no longer possible, this "season" is fine. |

| OVAs have been an important part of anime for a VERY long time. But since physical media is basically on life support, releasing it as a series instead makes the most sense. |

| meh just consider :The Missing Pieces Horimiya's SoL, and let the conclusive season be the Romance. I like Cloverwork's idea of redeeming themselves with this season, the anime's franchise is a mess now, however additional content is better than just letting the franchise rot and more studios should go this route imo |

| I agree in parts. It's not a mistake itself, but HoriMiya would be thousand times better if it was a full adaptation. I like it lots but it's obvious that they wasted the potential of a hidden gem of a manga. |
