Apparently this is on hiatus.
Orvieto said:To clarify, it seems like the author's contract with her publisher was terminated in 2017, shortly after an earlier hiatus where she had health complications. She's been trying to get back the rights to her work ever since, which would be needed for her to continue.
Another example of how parasitic publishers holding rights over authors has never amounted to anything good.

Are they trying to swindle a bigger share of profit over her or something like that?

Apparently dead for good, I read this on mangadex:
"It's a shame how transparent the reasoning for the cancellation of this series was, what with China throwing the Uyghur people in internment camps and seizing all of their land and shit. Can't have media that portrays their victims in a humanizing light
"
Dunno I any sources for this, but there is a change this was it, and if so, knowing China, this is DEAD for good.
FANTASTIC.

Uyghur culture is very famous in China. Also, the Chinese government holds no to little power over work on paper. Take LGBT themes for example. No homesexuality is allowed on tv, but there are bunch of books on it. Just here getting the facts straight.

That's just sick. Girl's the fucking creator. Just imagine the time and money she'll have to waste on this.

It's false.
There was rumors that she got the rights back because new editions of this Manhua recently got released (Alongside an event to win many goodies) , so this part may be true , but she said absolutely nothing about continuing it.
As of now , she's really invested in
Song Of The Sky Walkers , so i doubt she'll comes back anytime soon (if she ever do) to Song Of the Long March.

Oh I see thanks for the clarification. ‘Tis a shame that such a good series had to be ruined. By the way, by new editions do you mean publication of chapters that had already been written, just that they had a delayed release?
Author just stated on weibo that she got the rights back, the series will be continued.
