| I'm still surprised it's not A-1 Pictures making this new season as they did all the previous ones but we should be in good hands since it'll be by CloverWorks. |

| reiwa weebs will unironically tell u they want a remake or sequel but when they get it ,its suddenly souless and a cashgrab cause they dont like the thing anymore and cant fathom they grew out of it and must mean the show somehow became bad |

| If this follows the manga this should be the Public School arc, which is my favorite. The animation is different ( ofc, it's another studio) but looks fantastic. If anyone wants to understand they really should read the manga, best until Luxury Liner, if this really is about Public School. It feels unreal, that Black Butler suddenly gets a new season, after so many years. Always wished to see Gregory, the prefects and all the relevant students animated. |

| What incredible news! I'm assuming (and hoping) this isn't a reboot and will be continuing after Campania, the academy arc is just ripe for adaptation, and it's been long overdue. |
| I think it's going to be a sequel but honestly, i wouldn't mind a remake either. The filler kinda ruined the first season and the second is so bad people pretend it doesn't exist. Either way i'm excited. |
