The 13th and final episode of Jigokuraku (Hell's Paradise) television anime announced a second season on Saturday.

Jigokuraku adapts Yuuji Kaku's adventure fantasy manga, which began in Shounen Jump+ in January 2018 and concluded it with 128 chapters in January 2021. Shueisha published the 13th and final volume in April 2021.

The anime series produced by animation studio MAPPA began airing on April 1. Crunchyroll is streaming the anime with subtitles and an English dub.

VIZ Media simulpublished the manga on its Shounen Jump platform in English and released the 13th and final volume in March 2021. Shueisha's Manga Plus platform also simulpublished the manga in English, Spanish, and Thai.

They need more than the standard 12/13 episodes if they want to retain the reputation they made out of the first cour. As there's still 2 times the original content they adapted leftover.

The most meh anime out there, really be getting season 2s before Chainsaw Man...

Mappa should do the right thing and give Campfire Cooking in Another World a second season.

Hell yes, can't wait. This series is soo good. Some people only care about Animation and if a show isn't Demon Slayer or top tier Mappa quality or has any animation dips they call it trash(man how long have people been watching Anime, 10-15 years ago everything looked like crap and it was still great) this show is so good. Soo many questions to answer, so many cool ideas, and I can't wait to see more fights.

Hell's Paradise was one of the top animes this season which i enjoyed every single week. It's a shame we're not getting sequel for Chainsaw Man just yet. Nonetheless, great news.

As expected. I'm just hoping the visuals improve since it was up and down in this first season.

If I had to guess I would assume they're waiting for some kind of big stage event to make an announcement of that magnitude.

Hurray, another season.

eh.. i can say it got way more interesting when Yuzuriha finally got good screen time as the show progressed and im defintiely "excited" for another season

however, its honestly pretty fucking annoying when theyre this overprotective of the girls... ofc i don't want them to die, but again, much of the time feels like theyre just kinda there...

Jigokuraku got so good on the second half, I hope the second season comes soon. Don't worry about Chainsaw Man Mappa, just one season of that anime is enough.

The manga doesn't seem very long, can a season with 26 episodes cover the entire story?

what great news it was my favorite anime of the season, the gabimaru in appearance looks a bit like kaneki.

The first season did not disappoint, the characters were all well crafted and the plot twists made sense cuz plot armour. Im very excited to see how this narrative will continue in the next season

Great. The way S1 ended, it would be a sin not to give us S2.

It's been over a day since season 2 was announced, I wonder why it hasn't been added to the database yet.

I think they are doing fine with the current amount of episodes, at least for this first season. I haven't read the manga, so I don't know how the pacing will be past the anime, but I feel like there was enough in each episode to keep you going, right up until the end where shit really got good.  Any longer and they would A) Have to do filler to extend the franchise, or B) The show will end quickly and then we are done. It should take Three seasons at least.
