| Yunyun is like a breakout character in this show but still, I find it kinda interesting how she reacts to others and expresses her friendship to Megumin. It was an episode with some drama but also with its usual comedy and light moments. She and Megumin's relationship might be one to look out for. It's quite normal for a show like this. |

| Welp, the outside monster forces are getting out of hand, so the Red Crimson students ready themselves. Though for Yunyun, something's quite off about her, when it comes to her rivalry with Megumin. Other than the Hero candidate coming along to impress the girls, Yunyun contemplating being friends with Megumin, it seems like she's being taken advantage of to contribute money to cure Funifura's little brother's illness. But money is also important as an asset, and Megumin only offers what she can. Though I gotta say that both Bukkorori and Megumin's minds think alike with the Chuunibyou stuff, but of course, Yunyun doesn't understand a single thing. Obviously, rather than getting money, Megumin has another way around it: potion creation. Things like tree fledglings and duxions are rare, though Megumin is obviously a jerk for not just borrowing the onlon on its back, but literally killing in in front of Yunyun. The duxion slayer not wanting to take Yunyun's good-hearted nature for granted, to see Funifura reverse her ways, it's the Megumin tsundere way of not wanting to acknowledge that she has a friendship within of the long-time rival, but the rival intentionally stop-gaping herself to match with Megumin, since the latter is going for the joker explosion magic and being totally serious about it from her memories. Both friend and rival may have different aspirations...and the Dark God released from the seal with the onslaught of demons...where is Komekko??? Find the lil' sis first! |

| The village surroundings really has become the fav haunt for minions of the dark god. Hmm so those potions are skill points. I assumed they were mana potions. Quite the ambition Megumin has there. The magical craftmanship segment though sure had quite the ingredients. If YunYun was a boy then yes the bond between them can certainly be seen as being a romantic one. But still in the end im glad that they were able to solve YunYun's troubles. But she really went quite far to ensure that she would be able to grad at the same time as Megumin. Still for both of them its good that they have clear plans after graduating. One hell of a crisis they ended up walking into at the end though. |

| What's a Duxion? I just got that what they were saying (kamonegi) is the japanese name of the pokemon Farfetch'd. Must be a reference idk Oh, so the Crimson Demons' glowing eyes are not just for the effect? Interesting! ...although I suppose they are, considering how they were created lol. |

| Damn even tho I hated Megumin before this season, this episode made me gain a LOT of respect for her. That’s a real fucking friend. Standing up to those girls and getting Yunyun’s money back was too real. Everyone needs a friend like that. The conversations between she and Yunyun were really good today as well. This series in general has made me appreciate Megumin character a lot more. Even things like her only using explosion magic which I found so stupid in the main series, makes a lot more sense when you see her motivations in this. Looks like next week we’ll be getting our first explosion? Hype |

| Apparently "Duxion" when pronounced in Japanese is the Japanese name of the Pokemon Farfetch'd, that's pretty interesting, and it makes sense too. I do like Megumin and Yunyun's dynamic so far, but I was waiting for something to actually happen, and it looks like we'll get some action possibly next episode. Should be exciting. |
| Megumin may not be willing to accept, but she and Yunyun are already besties. Though believe me Yunyun would be glad to get it straight from her, but nah that's not how she does things lol. So we'll go with the usual rival thing for the time being. Also hey no swindling friends with a sob story. Now hope we actually see some action next episode. |

| So those "friends" of Yunyun weren't actually friends after all... They were trying to take advantage of the village chief's daughter. I guess it's left up to the viewer's imagination whether they were actually trying to nickel and dime Yunyun. Because it's a bit out of character for those crimson demons to be like that. Lying to your friend is so uncool. The reason why Yunyun is awkwardly left alone is because she's clearly the only sane person in her clan lol. She's an anomaly in their clan. Holy shit. Is this it? Does shit get real from now? I kinda doubt it cause it’s Konosuba after all. But I thought the series would be mostly just some comedy until the end. But I loved the drama between Yunyun and Megumin a lot. But it being a spin-off and a prequel might've set itself back a little. It’s been a while since I watched Konosuba season 1 and 2 but I remember Megumin being completely indifferent to Yunyun when she was with the main gang. The interactions between them in these episodes show their bond is clearly a lot more than that. Result of writing a prequel a lot later I guess. |

| Seeing how the Crimson Demons village got a Dark God, makes sense Megumin being the main representative. Part genius, part idiot. The whole potion brewing scene was great. I want some in my life of that, fantastic "not" friendship. Megumin be like "Imma fight this Yunyun" "Damn, Yunyun got hands". |

| I fancy some Duxion now... Putting that aside, you have to respect Megumin for standing up for Yunyun. The other girls that were "friends" to Yunyun aren't nasty girls, but taking advantage of Yunyun since she's the chief's daughter is still a dirty move, so Megumin made the right move in creating a potion for the girls while successfully demanding Yunyun's money back. Despite the argument that Megumin and Yunyun had at each other, which led to a small fight which Yunyun surprisingly won, you can tell how close their friendship between each other already is, even though Megumin would prefer to call this a rivalry. XD Overall, this episode was great fun. Plenty of funny moments with Megumin's facial expressions and killing Duxions without hesitation, but it also had solid character development, too. With the village under attack from monsters, I wonder if we'll get to see the first explosion magic from Megumin? Either way, I hope for some good action! |

| Overall a wholesome episode showcasing Megumin and Yunyun’s hidden but also not so hidden friendship, it’s interesting to see giving how they appear in Konosuba and very sweet for sure. Also I was thinking the show didn’t have the guts to kill off that duck but Megumin not just killing one, but two in this same episode was very funny despite being morbid lol. And I’m kinda surprised to hear they might be leaving the school already, I hope we have at least a little bit longer because I’ve been enjoying the antics among the classmates and the bits that benefited from being in class, also the school uniforms are cute lol. And looks like the village is getting attacked again, I’m wondering if we’ll see an absolute massacre like last time or not lol, but the real problem is Komekko being missing. |

| Didn't understand Megumin's behavior this episode. In what world were Funifura and Dodonko taking advantage of Yunyun's naivety? They suggested doing a collect, they never asked Yunyun for money but for help and in any case, what was the point of Megumin supposedly helping her "friend" if Yunyun still ended up losing that money paying for Megumin's many meals at that cafe? And she says Funifura and Dodonko are the ones taking advantage of Yunyun... sure... |

| This continues to be surprisingly dull. A heartfelt relationship with Yunyun isn't particularly funny, and this doesn't have what it takes to pull off serious. I'd feel weird dropping this when it's been so long since the main series, but I'm not seeing any payoff. |

| Yunyun is the best girl, as always ❤️ I knew Funifura and Dodonko (cool names) were kinda sus trying to interact with Yunyun as friends but I never expected they would try to take her money like that, it was kinda sad :( |
