| I gotta say, Hyouma is really making a name for himself not just for his actions but the risks he took to execute them. They're also building more with Botan and his relationship. With every episode, it feels like the two are closer. This felt like a decent buildup episode for the overall themes. Hyouma also feels like a more mature person compared to the early episodes of this show. |

| Yagen surprisingly didn't get killed in this episode, if wasn't the Hyoma character development, and if Botan & Hyoma escorting her, she would been at least kidnapped by the Tsukumogami for getting close to Botan. The last part was weird, we are already in the episode 8, and just now Botan know about Hyoma's past? That's crazy when you think that his whole personality is the Tsukumogami trauma thing. |

| The "Ou of Onigawara" Hyoma dealing with more powerful tsukumogami from the Kyoto Saenome house and Representative Kadomori himself, developing sympathies of tsukumogami as such with Yagen to save her than eradicate her. This influences Tsubaki to inch on Hyoma, and while this test more than anything confirms his strength, Hyoma earns Yagen to his side. But she has to hold herself at the Nagatsuki's for the while, and Hyoma has some explaination to do. Hyoma going to see Yagen off, and yet the tsukumogami eggs Botan to join the both of them. Yagen being a lost marebito whose owner has largely forgotten of her existence, it would be best to send her off but not without contact with his family. Yagen giving a warning to Hyoma about Botan being tsukumogami bait, and it's surprising that Botan knew about Hyoma's hatred for tsukumogami THIS late. At the very least, Yagen and the Nagatsuki tsukumogami aren't as bad as Hyoma would expect, with Botan's seal of approval. Oh well, if Hyoma has learnt anything, it's administering himself towards Botan and the tsukumogami more. |

| Not many 12 YO's go out of their way to hunt down spirits thats for sure. But the background really served to showcase Hyoma's true strength. Poor Yagen being used that way though. Funny that it was actually the enemy's plan that ended backfiring on him instead. The flashbacks of Hyoma's older bro and sis though were pretty interesting. Tsubaki though looks like she had some impressive ability though. Still her pops is just another example of the kind of eyes that had watched Botan. It was only a matter of time before the question came up so its better that its addressed now really. Its nice to see Hyoma's bond with Botan change in more ways than one though with the change in names being a good first step. |

| “You can grow, you can overcome it.” Hyouma has already changed a lot since we first saw him. He’s gained a tremendous respect for the Nagatsuki clan and realised that there’s a lot of different tsukumogami just like there’s a lot of different people. It does seem like botan and his relationship is starting to move forward as well. Now on a first name basis, cute lol |

| So Hyouma really is tough with surviving the gauntlet of tsukumogamis thrown at him by the old man. Hyouma has changed and it was shown by him sparing Yagen. I was surprised that Botan did not know why Hyouma dislikes tsukumoagmis so much and looking back Botan never asked until now. Yu's reaction was funny when they were watching over Botan, and it looks like Hyouma will be teaming up with both Yu and Kadomori (the pink haired girl) in the next episode. |
| Hyoma kicked ass, he even saved Yagen. He's changed quite a bit after living with the Nagatsuki's and this is proof of that. Interested in Tsubaki, possible love rival for Botan. Talking about Botan so she actually didn't know about Hyoma's past huh, well now she knows. Also it's nice that she asked Hyoma to call her Botan. |

| damn Hyouma's no pushover and even old man Taiju Kadomori was a bit impressed at him! Japan's first-name basis complex never gets old huh... Yuu's bloodlust against Hyouma is still raging as ever! she really does not want to let these do to a simple hook-up nevermind a date! haha!! 5/5. |

| Okay I don't really buy Hyoma grudge, I mean sure he lost some one who's very close at a very young age and that can be traumatic but I'm not interested with him so I don't care about he's grudge |
| I know his grudge is deep to him but to us the viewers, it is not. But I'm fine with it. It doesn't have to get so dark. This anime is beautiful enough that I can ignore all of that :) |

| ... Did Hyouma seriously think that whole fight was a test for his strength? That's so stupid. We've seen him be at least somewhat competent throughout this series, and then he believes that old man after he tried to kill him? WHY? Other than that though, I guess this was a nice episode. We learn a bit more about Hyouma's past and he saves Yagen from that old guy. We also get to see Hyouma and Botan get a bit closer which is nice too! I also love some of the faces we got in this episode lol especially Hyouma and that other girl |

| young Hyoma was already op, beating strong monsters when he was even 12yo back in present day, he is fighting the guys at the temple, from last episode, and even if he is starting to get a little tired, he doesn't seem too worried wanting to play with Hyoma a little more before sealing him(?), he called that youkai with a blade foot, we saw that one before, the girl who attacked the trio when they visited her house... so she got caught, rip we saw Tsubaki younger self, she is cute either way the blade girl is quite strong, and with Hyoma feeling bad for using his skill on her, it's a problem... even the enemy knows he is becoming more friendly with tsukumogami he looked like he finally decided to beat the girl, but instead he managed to destroy the talisman without even scratching her, wtf the old man thought he had an advantage, but he quickly got shut down Tsubaki heard all about Hyoma from his older simblings (the ones who died) and she is now interested in him more than ever... so either her father stops, or she will make them stop lol also, a talisman scythe? that's cool , i'm liking scythe weilders more and more after some animes/games have them so, now that they lost, they use the excuse that it was all a test, sure :D Tsubaki gave him her number, that should be interesting lol the blade girl will be in their care, and she is not too happy to join the Botan household, even if for just a day, they are scary back at home, Hyoma remembered how bad the old guy talked about Botan ... the poor girl has had to deal with people thinking bad of her for so long, yet she manages to smile, her family did a good job when Yagen came in, Botan couldn't hold on on her naughty thoughts lol next day, when it's time to take Yagen out, Botan had to go with them, to clear the misunderstanding... and also because Hyoma's eyes are scary Yagen wants to visit the place where she used to "live" when she was just a crafting tool, but after hundreds of years, the place is probably different now ... still she is satisfied she also doesn't want to take the couple's time LOL those faces, what a cute scene time to leave Yagen to her new owners?family? (hopefully a good one), but not before she tells him to protect Botan, as she is a special master to all of them Botan herself is having fun watching Hyoma do his job, and learning about other youkais apart from the ones at her home Botan (and us as well) learning more about the 2 simblings that died and the reason he hates tsukumogami his goal now, is to understand more about them, instead of just killing on sight... and with Botan seal of aproval, he will be able to do it Hyoma still feels the many tsukumogami that are looking at Botan, including... Yuu and her murderous intent lols it's finally time for him to call her Botan tho, as Nagatsuki the name of everyone in the family, but again, Yuu is not happy :D next episode, a mysterious fire... and i see Tsubaki |

| That old guy was right about Hyouma's sentimentality hindering his capabilities. Maybe Hyouma's grandfather actually wants to kill him off, and sending him off to the Nagatsuki house was his indirect method of attempting to have him die in one of his fights once he started getting attached to the tsukumogami there. |

| Alright, I have to say, this show has grown on me quite a bit. The fight scenes have been pretty nice and Hyouma/Botan have some innocent moments together...very cute :) |
